Popped in today for a replacement seat for my wife’s bike. The staff were really friendly and helpful, helped my wife select a new seat and made sure it was configured properly for her.

I had my old cheap bike for about 10 years, and I knew it was time for an upgrade, so I decided to take a chance at their shop and I'm very happy that I did. This bike is honestly the best bike I ever had, and I enjoy the look and feeling of my new bike. I highly recommend for anyone looking to get a new bike or even repairs done these guys would do it and offer such a positive experience.

A great bike shop that delivers value to deep enthusiasts and mainstream cyclists alike. Had such a positive and patient experience with Josh and Evan working through a custom build that turned out exactly as I had hoped. The build involved custom frame modifications, specialty paints, unique components, and personal preferences woven throughout the bike. Could not be happier with how it turned out or with my experience working with their team on this build.

A top class shop staffed by amazing folks! They took pity on an unorganized touring cyclist and was able to get my bike sorted and more for my impromptu journey across the border to Central America. If I hadn’t been on the road I would have been interested in several of the fine classic steeds they had on display. I’m no local but I’ve been to enough shops to tell you that this shop is the best for miles around. Do your bike a favor and go visit the The Bicycle Stand for all your cycling wants, needs, and desires 😘

The employees at The Bicycle Stand are awesome! I have my first bike race tomorrow and my bike chain got messed up today. I popped in the store, they fixed it right there, and explained the issue to me without making me feel dumb. Will definitely come back here for all bike needs in the future!! Great place.

Cool vintage bikes, high and lower end new and used, and cargo bikes. Knowledgeable, helpful, and honest mechanics. If they can’t get a part quickly they will tell you how to get it so your repair can be done more quickly. They refurbished my 1960’s Crescent. It looks fast and shiny. They keep my Trek Domane SL5 in top shape. And I bought a Canondale EBike and a Virtue Schoolbus Cargo bike from them. Thanks for keeping me rolling in style and safely.

If you’re looking for a bike shop this is the place. The service is unreal, prices are fair, and the staff is super kind. Had a little issue with my frame coming off the back wheel and Eric helped us fix it 5 minutes

I came in with a very small problem before they closed for the night, thinking/hoping it would be a free repair, but really hoping it wouldn't spiral into a bigger problem, you never know. I rely on my bike to commute full time, so even if I had to over pay i would be good. No problem, you win some you lose some. Sure enough, free fix. Thank you!

Cool shop on a great street. The employees were really kind and went out of their way to help. They had some really special old bikes. I picked one out as a gift for my mom and she is very pleased. It was previously owned by the owners of Acres of Books, so it's amazing to have a vintage bike and a piece of Long Beach.

I will add to what many others have said; this a great shop with a great crew. I never felt rushed or pressured when looking for a new bike. The staff answered all my questions thoroughly and offered very detailed, useful opinions when I asked.
It's such a pleasure to feel good after making a big purchase, and The Bicycle Stand made it happen for me.

Great shop and staff. I'd walked in with a rear tire from my mountain bike, to have the innertube replaced. They were done when the promised to me and indeed called me (I didn't have to call them). Later, at home, I had trouble putting the tire back on and properly reconnecting the chain (much easier to take a rear tire OFF, than to re-install, especially when you don't have a friend to help lift or hold the bike). I called them, they said "..come on in.." and one of the guys put it on in a few minutes, WITHOUT charging me more.

Nicole was fantastic on my first visit to the Stand. I never owned a bike and she guides me patiently to choosing the right one and fitting it to my height and arm length. The staff is extremely chill and friendly. Can get free air fills on your wheels. Since I have been using my bike daily, I lost one of the pedal reflectors and Nicole promptly replaced it for free!! The Price is on the higher side but not crazy, and you get excellent quality and assistance for what you pay.

5 stars (and more if I could). Please consider opening a store in awesome SF / Bay Area!!

This place is a simple old fashioned bike repair. They are slam with work because of there good workmanship and honest.
This is the first time going to this location, I'm from Las Vegas area. I was calling several bike shops and no one has any good character, nor good customer service.

The best bicycle shop we have ever been!

We were absolutely desperate to go cycling but on of our bikes had a bent wheel so we looked up for a bicycle shop and saw this had good reviews.

We went to the shop and the staff were helpful, joyful and fun to be around. They fixed the bike in under 20 minutes and were really happy about doing it. The reviews were exactly right about the shop.

The overall experience was great and i recommend people to go there if they love cycling.

Fantastic people and service. Every person at the shop is fantastic. Tons of bike knowledge, and they'll take the time to break it down for you if you ask, but not even a hint of condescension, and they work with your goals and price point. They built up a gorgeous Rivendell from the frame up for me, but they also helped me resurrect a 15 year-old mountain bike as a cheapo grocery-getter, and they're putting together a bombproof steel wet-weather bike at a super-reasonable price point.

I have been here twice in the last month and both times the guys have been very courteous and helpful. The work they did was very satisfactory and very reasonable price wise.

I called the shop several times before heading in checking on inventory and every time they answered they were helpful and polite.
We decided to stop by and purchased two bikes. Evan was probably the most knowledgeable person I’ve ever met in this industry. He didn’t seem bothered at the fact we kept changing our minds and we’re going back and forth between different models. He made sure the bike we bought for our son fit him correctly and he wouldn’t struggle riding it. We’ll certainly come back if we need another bike.
