The Belmont Shore Inn

I am currently at this hotel and you know I was here over a year ago and I wasn’t as impressed but now it’s lovely. The same people are running it. They are lovely. The people that are cleaning. It are amazing. The place is always sparkly and it’s a lovely little INN
BELMONT SHORE IS ADORABLE ON ITS OWN BUT THERE THERE AREN’T MANY PLACES TO STAY HERE. THERE AREN’T HOTELS. THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE AND IT’S AN. INN.
Inns are few and far between. Honestly, I’ve been staying in hotels and for the past year and I have not yet stayed in but here I am and I’ve just rebooked the family that it is and that Claine and it’s very sweet so I encourage anyone to send a friend here or stay here if you need to I like it I’ll add photos in the next few days

Very friendly staff. Hotel is very clean and located conveniently next to Vons, 7-Eleven and gas stations in addition it’s walking distance to the beach. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.

We had a fantastic stay at the Belmont Shore Inn! The location was easily walkable, extremely close to the beach, and close to food/grocery. The room was nice and big, easily big enough for 4 adults. It was clean and comfortable.

Hotel staff were SO nice and courteous and were easily available for extra towels or anything when needed. They even gave us a welcome gift of snacks/water when we check in! They were able to give restaurant recommendations and areas to check out nearby.

I was initially nervous about not being able to find parking as there are only (6) spots in the back and we stayed during a busy event weekend (Long Beach GP). But this didn't end up being an issue at all. Between street parking and the private lot it was never a problem to find an available spot. That being said, I will note... the back lot is VERY tight and fills up fast but with some careful maneuvering it is still usable.

The only improvements that I could say are rooms were a bit noisy, squeaky doors, upstairs noise, etc. Low water pressure would be only other issue. If this could be improved it would be amazing.

We would certainly come back!!

Best location for LB marathoners. Price varies...between 180ish and 250for a night depending when you book. Stayed here for a few years now. Everyone that works there is very nice, thorough. It's always clean...and I mean open the door smells good clean. No microwave only bummer in the room. Security cameras throughout the lot, private parking in the back.
No ideal for XL vehicles (anything bigger than a jeep grand cherokee2018).

Highly recommend. Book early. I do every year around may/june ish for October.

Very quaint little place tucked back but on a main drag. Quiet, clean, excellent service. Thank you for a great stay!

Clean, comfy and very friendly! We definitely enjoyed our stay. The Inn was recently remodeled and updated. 2 min walk from the beach. We stayed in the King suite and we had so many windows made the room feel fresh and airy.
The Gentleman who checked us is was very friendly and answered our questions.
The parking spots are limited and it’s on a first come first serve, but they will definitely help you find a spot for your car.
But our stay was very pleasant and highly recommended!

My husband and I stayed last week and couldn’t have more positive things to say about this place. Our flight got in super late but Nick, the owner/proprietor, was there to check us in and was so kind and gracious. The bed was super comfortable and the room was actually even nicer than we were expecting! Felt like a pretty luxurious hotel room. Definitely stay here and make sure you spend a few minutes talking to Nick!

Great place to stay at if you want to be near the water in Long Beach.

I would've never thought to stay here, but I was pleasantly surprised! We had a studio and it was clean and cute, and that king size bed was very comfortable! The glass shower in view of any and everyone in the room was a bit on the romantic side for me since it was a romantic night out!

I was weary based on the negative reviews, but this place is legit. The exterior seems to have been recently been renovated, and the rooms are certainly modern and recently renovated. Bed is very comfortable. Get room number 2 and you'll have the most isolated and quiet experience available. It's directly above the manager's office, but nobody can walk past your room. Management is very friendly, and they told us (and presumably everybody else) that no smoking, pets, or other guests are allowed. Pretty standard. Only 5 parking spots on the property (very small and hard to get in to) and they are first come, first served. However, this area is top-notch and you have so many great attractions within walking short distance (including the beach and pier). Check out Belmont Brewing Company for what I believe is the only ocean-front, panoramic dining and drinking spot in long beach (I'm talking right on the sand, with great views and fire pits), a 3 minute walk away.

This is a very great value in a motel for the price. The rooms are very modern, clean and brightly lit. Less than five min walk from the beach. If you're looking for an economical stay in Long Beach, I can't recommend the Belmont Shore Inn enough.

I love this place. The people who run it are a family. I've been going there for 3 years now they always make me feel at home. If there's something I want or need but have to ask and if it is available our reasonable they are very accommodating. As far as location for me it's a great central zone you be just for yourself the next vacation or just get away peace have a great day

This place used to be super shabby, but the new owners are doing a COMPLETE renovation and they are doing a WONDERFUL job!!
The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The bed was super comfy. It's located within walking distance of many restaurants and other entertainment.
There is also a large flock of parrots that roost in the palms across the street, which are very enjoyable to watch from the balcony in the evening.
The staff are beyond friendly and helpful. They eagerly welcome all suggestions to make the space even better. We are looking forward to a return visit to see the completion of the project.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating from the beginning. My friend and I arrived early and our room wasn’t quite ready , but we were able to put our luggage in the room while we grabbed lunch at Belmont Brewing Company which is literally a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The room was so cute! My friend and I joked it was out studio apartment for the week😊. Our room came with 2 queen beds with soft gray bedding and comfy pillows. The bathroom was beautiful.. all tile shower , two sinks, two mirror and private toilet. Overall, great experience and perfect location! 1-2 min walk from beach, 5-10 minutes from 2nd St and 10-15 minutes from Shoreline Village. Will definitely be back! Thanks Nick!

Excellent inn! Such a sweet little spot in the best area. Within walking distance to many restaurants and the beach is about 2 minutes away. The room itself is equipped with modern amenities and was very comfortable. The check in process was simple and pleasant. I would definitely stay here again!

The rooms are updated and spacious. Very clean and neat. Great price for the location. Only bad part is that there's only 5-6 parking spots, otherwise you must find street parking.

I will DEFINITELY COME BACK!! I love everything about this place! It is new and renovated and most importantly the motel is about a 2 min. Walk to the BEACH!!! We stayed for 3 nights and the rooms were always cleaned we were given new towels every time and the also have pretty good channels on tv even though we didn’t stay much inside the room. The staff was very nice, friendly, and accommodating. There is also gas, stores, food restaurants near by all within walking distance! Great place, fantastic staff, and perfect location!! Thank you for the wonderful time!
