L.A. County Animal Control

Just had Squirrel situation in my backyard that needed help. I called and the lady that answered was very nice and polite. After taking some information she sent out the call for someone to come over. The guy that came, came fairly fast and was very nice. Thankfully he was able to help the squirrel.

They are always friendly..the facility's are very clean. This palmdale location offered me free food for my
cat & dog rescue . very good service to the community.

I will say I think I like the place more then Lancaster as I've heard this place is a no kill and Lancaster is a high kill BUT the people here are EXTREMELY rude I hope they stop working here asap mainly the front desk ladies while Lancaster people seem to be reslly nice

This people are hypocrites they don't care about animals they just care about receiving donations. Make a report and they will never show up unless it has to do with horses or valuable live stock like game fowls so they can later kill with gas or bb guns and hit owners with heavy citations. Palmdale is home to a great large amount of back yard breeders but if u report them animal control does nothing at all yet they complain that their facility's been full but dont do anything about unlicensed and unuterer animals and tied up dogs. Recently I had damaged done to my new truck by a pack of ver 12 huskies and german shepherds I did a report do to the fact that the owner keeps them in a empty lot and animal control did nothing about it. The lot is located at 38677 16th st east full off dogs and trash yet the city does nothing about lots like this one making the city and house values drop do to the accumulated trash and loose dogs that make the city look trashy. Stop donations to animal control until they actually do their job and stop harassing ranchers when the real problem is in the huge number of dog population do to back yard breeders!!!!!!

I adopted a Doberman male puppy , 7-8 months old who was under treatment for kennel cough, at the shelter when adoption took place , very tiny for his age , definitely neglected by his former “owner” ! A very bad experience : starting with the receptionist ( front desk) and the kennel assistants all very rude , very impolite , very rejecting attitude , ironical in a bad way , very very disrespectful! So sad ! The only one who saved the Palmdale Shelter’s reputation was Lynette , a veterinary technician / assistant who had a very nice & courteous conversation with me !
