I see sprinkler waste like this every day in Long Beach but the city would rather fine citizens for not having a safe place to park their car.

The customer phone line is terrible!! Called 3 times so far - first time I was caller 24 so couldn't wait - next 2 times the recording said they were busy and to call back!

I understand that utility companies are a necessity for everyone but good customer service can still be good. Today, I had the displeasure of talking to Ulysses and he was the most rude and unprofessional phone representative that I have ever dealt with. I'm not a malicious person but I hope he gets fired so someone with better attitude can get the job and provide good service and make the city of Long Beach look good.

We ended up being delinquent on our bill for 3 weeks due to an issue with Wells Fargo, despite us having paid through them, Long Beach water was kind enough to shut me off with no warning and despite me explaining we already paid, forced me to pay a reconnection fee and repay my bill before they’d even tell me they can’t get a tech out for 2 days. We’ve maintained this account for 7 years with 0 issues. Policy should be added to a) really make sure a client knows they’re at risk of being shut off, and b) a phone call giving enough warning to address the issue before you’re suddenly just SOL on showers toilets and cooking. Perks of being the sole provider in an area is that you can treat your optionless customers however you feel. Shame on you!
