Absolutely excellent Mexican place in Eagle Rock. The staff is super friendly and the food is authentic and delicious. They have amazing margaritas and the chips are crunchy and unique. The wait can get a bit long on weekends so plan to wait about 20-40 mins depending on your party size. The inside is cozy and they have a great, lively atmosphere.

Incredible mole! I definitely recommend bringing an appetite… the burrito I ordered was massive. The chips and salsa are unlimited and had some great heat. The servers were friendly and checked in a lot which was good because I needed lots of water for the amazing salsa!

Good happy hour. Inside has a nice cantina style bar area with a few TVs. Highlights of the happy hour are the $4 beers, $9 margaritas and good specials. Food is pretty good. Loved the nachos. Service good. There's street parking but you might have to walk a block or two.

We got catering from them for a baby shower and everyone enjoyed the food.
Christie was great at communicating about picking up the food and explaining and verifying all the items purchased.

Super cute local restaurant! Love this place, the service is amazing and the food is delicious. I always come here with family, the ambiance and vibe is perfect. I always recommended the mole duck fries 10/10!

Short 15 minute wait for two people on Valentine’s Day 2023 at 6 pm. Waited outside under the heater. Picked our own table. Somehow we got stuck with a shorter-than-usual table? Seemed like it was an ADA height table near the restrooms.

Quick service. Great food. Decent music. Street parking.

Masterful street Tacos
I was in the local area and remembered coming here awhile back with friends and enjoying it. So I returned back to dive into the menu further.

I decided to go with some street tacos off their menu to see if they could actually compete with street tacos In Los Angeles, because LA has quite the street taco scene.

Wonderful selection of street tacos were available, I decided to go with 3 as follows:

Chicken (with mole added, yum!)

Duck Carnitas

And of course the ol AL Pastor (with caramelized pineapple on top!)

These tacos were fantastic. The ingredients were of high and fresh quality, the handmade blue corn tortillas, the masterfully cooked meats, and the combination of fresh and thoughtful flavor combinations all mixed together was perfection and is what tacos are all about to me.

In addition to the quality food, I was met with quality service for dine in. I was asked multiple times by multiple staff if I needed anything. They even switched the TV station to TNT so I could watch the NBA playoffs when I asked if it was possible.

Definitely come check out this restaurant if you have an opportunity.

P.s. if planning a visit with people, do take into account phone service quality is a bit spotty In the restaurant.

Great food on the pricey side but you are getting great quality and service so it’s worth iiit. Came here after church with my sister on a Sunday afternoon right before the crowd started trickling I’m. I got the pozole and my sister got the enchiladas with red sauce. Both were amazing. I will say the meat in the pozole wasn’t as tender as I’m used to but it was still bomb nonetheless. We also got there chips, salsa and guacamole which were fire. Their salsa’s have great flavor and their chips are seasoned, do I need to say anything else. Definitely give this spot a try they are a gem in Eagle Rock.

Great food the asada and duck carnitas were amazing I definitely recommend try this please. You order in line before you seat but they'll find a table for you so no pressure. The shrimp tacos were on the spicier side but tasted great. Staff friendly small space so larger groups of 6 or more get a little tricky to accommodate. Street parking only but didn't have any trouble. Service was good.
I would definitely go back.

Looooove this place! I got a duck 2 ways special taco in honor of Jonathan Gold's birthday and enchiladas with chicken and red sauce. Both were incredibly delicious even though I'm not a big fan of corn tortillas. We definitely recommend this place.

LOVE this place. We’ve been coming here for years!! And we actually are no longer living in LA but make a stop here when we travel through. Staff is always friendly, amazing food, and fun atmosphere. And do yourself a favor and get the tres leches cupcake. It’s to die for.

This is literally the best restaurant ever. I don’t even want to tell people that so it doesn’t end of being so popular I can’t get a table, but for real, it is flawless. Everything here is great, food, drinks, vibes, people. I wish I lived next door.

Duck tacos were delicious. Fish tacos were good. I also had the mole fries because they are popular but I don't really like mole so I cannot comment. Rosemary water was great and unique.

Note that you order first then grab a table.

This place opened my eyes to incredible flavors and textures possible in something as humble as tacos and burritos. Come early. It is extremely busy here and street parking only.

Today we came here for breakfast. Wow. Chipotle Egg Bemesicto and Tre leches pancakes. Broke all kinds of dietary laws this more but well worth the sin 😂

Cadillac margarita is fantastic . Ceviche and chicharron apps are excellent. Quesabirria tacos delicious. Everything was great. Not many places I can say that about.

The pan seared fish tacos were some of the best I have ever had. I also tried the beer battered, and they were a pit to bready. I will come back to this spot for sure. Especially for the fried avocado.

Guacamole and Chips - good start to the evening accompanies by Margaritas and IPA craft beers.

Chips are special corn and salted to perfection.

Fish tacos and carne asada plates arrived hot and sweating off steam. Hot meals are he best.

Carne Asada juicy with a mesquite taste. Tasted like a good cut of meat.

Fish tacos a rainbow of flavors.

Always absolutely amazing food and service. Authentic food that will have you wanting more. The chips are made onsite with their own seasoning sauce. The red salsa is a must try. Please note that it’s spicy.
The drinks are always so delicious and the one I tried on May 5th was gorgeous. Yes, a drink was gorgeous. This restaurant is worth the drive each time and worth the wait to get in.

A little pricey but ambiance and food quality was worth it. Tried the mole fries, should not be legal how good it tastes. Birria burrito was good and large! Definitely a recommendation
