I've been on a mission to try as many different Mexican mochas as I can from various places. I decided to head out to Viento y Agua and visit this little coffee shop. It has a really nice coffeehouse vibe. Couches, loveseats, tables and chairs throughout the shop. I tried their version of the Mexican mocha and it wasn't overwhelming with flavor just the right mix. I got it with oat milk and prefer the flavor it gives the drink. I'll have to give their food a go next time.

I tried their Mexican Mocha which is their most popular drink along with a bagel sandwich. The coffee was decent but not spectacular. They have a variety of performances going on 2nd saturday of each month along with vendors in the front. The decor here is super cute. The barista was friendly and gave me a sample of their cold brew to try. Service can be a bit slow at times so be patient.

Such a cool cafe!! Hubby & I went while on vacation & thought it was awesome. We had coffee and pastries & sat on the couch while checking everything out. It's very laid back, with a hippie vibe, decorated with a lot of Day of the Dead decor, sugar skulls & skeletons. The owner was singing as he brought an order to 1 of his regulars. It was cute. Will definitely go back if ever in Long Beach again!

So Viento y Agua is such a cool coffee shop here in the Long Beach community. Kei was very nice and welcoming. She is a definite star there and hopefully you get her to assist you. Very artsy atmosphere as you can tell by some of my pictures. We ordered a Mexican coffee and it was delicious. There are comfortable sofas set around for you to choose and lounge in. If you are in the area go check it out.

Great local spot! Great to go work from, hangout with a friend or by yourself with a book. They always host very cute community events and they have a little mexican store inside (adelitas revenge) that is so cute.
Their stuff is definitely on the expensive side but good quality and a great space.

Best coffee ☕ , cappuccino. Lattes! Since I've tasted their coffee other places don't even come close. Highly recommend. The atmosphere is great for working or ready a book.

Viento as It’s known in my circle is a coffeehouse community. I have been coming here for decades. People are friendly and the food and beverages are delicious. The Mexican mocha is one of the most unique things you can get here, and the Killer Tomato sandwich is so yummy, my then-toddler simply loved it (and it’s loaded with vegetables, so that was unusual). Now that he’s a teen it still holds status on the menu and for nostalgia. Adelita’s Revenge is the cutest tuendita in house, with Latin inspired goods and many local artists, and the piano there is a Sing for Hope community piano which can be played at any time (just ask the staff to turn off piped in music). They host a series of music events including an open mic and monthly music series geared toward all ages. Musicians and artists, reach out to them if you search for a unique space for your gallery art or music. Awesome community, proud that it’s the local hub of our corner of Long Beach!

Good vibes and friendly staff. Different options for eating include croissants, PB&J sandwiches and deli-style. The Mexican mocha was delicious! There is an extra charge for non-dairy milk alternatives

The place I come to several times a week to get some work done. I love the atmosphere here. The baristas are really nice and I like that they have healthy options to eat as well as a good selection of organic teas. They have live music, I believe on Thursdays but I've also seen a performance on Sundays. So maybe the dates vary.

Large coffee and chocolate chip cookie- $6!

spacious coffee shop with plenty of room to study. Aesthetically pleasing to the eye with art covered walls, and funky furniture.

Great spot for a quick coffee and relax with fun music. I go here on my break at the school across the street.

It had been a few years since my last visit but I had decided to swing through again after scheduling a coffee date on a Sunday morning. The streets were still relatively quiet and foot traffic was light - likely due to locals choosing to sleep in or heading off to Sunday services. And the shop looked relatively the same as I had remembered it from the last time I was there, which brought me some comfort as familiarity often does.

However, it was impossible to miss the small boutique that had been added in the corner at some point over the last several years. It looked out the large front window onto the street, where the occasional passerby would stop and cup their hands over their faces to peer inside. The colorful displays of Chicano and LB bits and bobs hanging among the walls and cabinets added a splashes of vibrancy to the cooler-color palette of the interior.

There was once a stage in the corner as well, where poetry readings and open mic nights had often filled my earlier years. But there was a large picnic table in its place instead. The additional seating space was welcome but it highlighted how things have changed since the pandemic altered the lifestyles of artists and performers.

Soon after my arrival, my date entered and we ordered our drinks - for her, a simple pour over, black, no sugar, no cream. And for myself, an americano with the same staunch simplicity. There were breakfast options like oatmeal, hot sandwiches and other tasty treats available but we had both eaten beforehand. My drink was a little too watery for my taste - which, what do you expect for something that's espresso w/ additional hot water added? I made a mental note to order something with more body next time.

The lounge area was already occupied so we found ourselves a table and spent nearly two hours talking. By then, more people had begun to arrive and a short line had formed. The staff had tied their hair back and gracefully moved between the machinery behind the counter. My date and I took a moment to watch as they doled out the orders with smiles and down-to-earth attitudes. We soon noticed that there were people standing around and talking about their plans for the week, so we finished our drinks and departed for the day.

Overall the experience was enjoyable without the unnecessary bourgie attitude that has become all too common at cafes. Coffee cost as much as coffee should and the staff was charismatic and genuine. My usual coffee place went out of business some years back but I think that Viento y Agua will likely become my new regular place.

Cool coffee shop with hip vibes. Super comfy chairs and the baristas are knowledgeable without being pretentious. They treat everyone really chill and respectfully. Great coffee and bomb food

They're really great here but don't expect to be able to get coffee and run. They take a very long time for drinks and sometimes food. But the bagel sandwiches are seriously delicious and the people are friendly and the decor is weird and cool.
