Covina Park

Love this park, it is close to my place. I enjoy coming to this park from time to time to either go walk, jog, sit at one of the many benches the park provides and enjoy eating lunch or simply read a book under one of the beautiful trees. The park is close to Downtown Covina.The new playground looks fantastic. It is dog friendly, there is plenty of parking space. I do think the restrooms need improvement. I will like to see the city renovate the women's restroom in the future, they definitely need to be upgraded.There are some homeless people that hang around the park but they don' t bother anybody, other than that I enjoy coming to this park.

I have been coming to this park, since 2009..
I jyst love this park, the used to have lions and other animal staues here, that lots of children used to play on.. but are no longer present.. but with all the renovations performed at this park, its still a gem to go to. They have public restrooms, a walking/ jogging track that surrounds the entire park, they obtain a basketball court, a public swimming pool thats large... lots of swings and slides, for toddlers to play on... a family park, that always has friendly people in it. I truly enjoy, EVERYTHING of this public park. Thank you so much, for always being clean and close by to home. A true gem of a park.

Our crew was there to celebrate the lighting of the Christmas tree in downtown Covina. What a great place to be!

Love taking my son here they have swings for babies a lot of running space a lot of shade when you’re sitting in the grass the restrooms are kind of a little ways, but the restrooms were clean.

I take my granddaughter and she loves this park. Feel safe with police department just down the street. Always many people taking morning walks with their dogs.

Nice park, but parking is few. Slides, basketball and tennis,courts, skate park, swimming pool, obstable course, picnic area available. Walking area with exercise equipment. Some areas are not well lit for night walking.

Love this park, peaceful and clean

Covina Park has picked up a lot! I would have given it a 4 star in the past. I love all the new renovations they have done to the park. New workout equipment, new soft floor track, and even light to illuminate when dark around the track for you night runners! There's also a swimming pool, basketball courts, and skating ring. Let's not forget the playground with picnic tables.

Traveling- Stormy day in Jan and found this park to walk dog. Enjoyed the soft track, and amazed by all the activities included. Wish this park was near us at home. Playground equipment creative, new, impressive. Track included health workout stations/equipment I would have liked to use except for their being all wet from the rain. Excellent service to the community. Kudos Covina BOS.

Went to pool for recreational swim. Kids under 6 must be accompanied by an adult in the pool. Very understandable rule, but a lady inside enforcing the rules over the loudspeaker was annoying as heck! Oh my gracious lord was she annoying. Her nagging and and nagging was painful. The rec swimming is only open for 1 hour a day, and to have part of that hour interrupted by her nagging. Suggestion make it clear before entering, adult must be in swim wear and in the water with child under 6 years. Simple!

Huge well planned spot for whatever you want. Playgrounds, swimming, teen center, exercise, tennis. Walking, just longing under a shade tree, picnics. Great get-away

A cute little neighborhood park, not crowded. One could always find space or a shady spot to stretch, read or picnic. It feels safe, with its location, right by the neighbors, and next to an emergency room, which also has plenty of parkings.

This park does have its share of homeless just like any other park but it is super safe because once the homeless is discovered they are escorted off the park property. It's a tough call because some of these men/women without homes are not bad people but I understand I wouldn't want my child around them. The park is clean and safe. It has slides, swings and what makes it safe is there is the office located on the park property.

The swimming pool fantastic, the basket ball courts, we had a function at the picnic area, every Sunday I meet with my friends and family for a get together even the kids the love the playground

After all the recent upgrades they did to the park, how can you go wrong here? My kids learned to play soccer here, they learned to swim and have several events from lego camps, to Mami and me events, etc. Lots of green areas, playgrounds, workout machines, jogging/walking trails, pool, tennis courts, clubhouse, skating ring, squirrels and much much more.

Great place to take your dog on a walk. Plenty of light even later in the evening. Has dog bag stops around and even a drinking fountain for your dog. Overall nice park.

Kids enjoyed playing there. Plenty of slides and swings and other toys to play on. Is located right across the street from the hospital.

Beautiful park by downtown Covina. You can definitely see the effort the city has put into improving this park and they're doing a good job most recently. They've added a soft walking path that feels so good to take strolls on and makes it very nice on the knees. They've also added workout equipment throughout that people actually use. Also, there are no homeless in the park as they are not allowed and are escorted out when they try to sleep there, which is hard to see these days. It's a nice, clean neighborhood park, in a nice neighborhood.

A great safe place to take the whole family! The playground turf has a bounce cushion for children to enjoy. No sand in the playground; easy and secure for parents or families to enjoy. Nice walking track and community swimming pool too.

They've updated the playgrounds and there's a new cushioned walking trail. They also have places where you can excercise/stretch. I've walked here on and off for the past 4 years and it's cool to see all the improvements. Bonus: I don't see homeless people here anymore during the day and night. Looks like they're gone.
