JJ CHINESE EXPRESS

The food is cooked to order made fresh, hot, and ready after a generous amount of time. I used to go to Chinese Deli, in Carson since the’80’s, but I really feel that this place that I began eating at, this year, is more to my liking. I was born in Long Beach, raised in Wilmington, lived in Carson, love Manhattan Beach area, but I dwell in Long Beach now and am experiencing new places when I can afford it and it’s fabulous food like this place. The female that greets you is very precise, thorough, and attentive. Gotta love it!!!

Ordered Sweet and pungent Shrimp - was excellent! Right amount of heat, plump shrimp - definitely ordering again!

Absolutely amazing wings. Essentially huge pieces of fried chicken with the best buffalo sauce I think I've ever had. This is a hidden gem for wings if you're walking in this area!!!!

The food here was fabulous! They made it fresh once I placed the order. I chose JJ's of all the Chinese restaurants in the area because they had egg foo young and I have not had that in ages so it was fabulous. I got the house of young and it had whole shrimps in it🍤. Almost one in every bite, seriously!

This is one of my go to places and I GrubHub here when I can. You can get fried rice in pretty hearty portions which is always great when you're really craving it.

We literally order here once or twice a month. Service is super fast and consistent. The orange chicken is bomb, and the best we’ve had in the area. Decent prices too!

Delicious food at very inexpensive prices. Actually, the food here is better than a lot of fine sit down restaurants. Not much atmosphere but great free delivery (within 3 miles and with a minimum order of $15). I order frequently and am never disappointed. Oh, the portions are huge. A great little restaurant with very fresh food!

I am a regular. I order there maybe 3 times a week. I know! I am addicted to their wonton soup! There soup is the best guys! The sesame chicken is my favorite with beef fried rice. It's delicious! I have never had a problem since last year. I totally recommend it.

It's fast Chinese. They don't use pre-cut veggies, but it tastes as good. Great pork buns.

This has been the best Chinese food I've had in long beach!!!! I cannot recommend it enough, I have tried every other place and I keep coming back here. They give such huge portions, pack all of our food so well (never had any spills despite ordering orange tofu with lots of sauce), and do it all super quickly. The orange tofu and kung pao tofu are amazing and perfect for those looking to go vegetarian.

Low key the BEST take out Chinese food in the city! Amazingly flavored and good quality food at a super affordable price. The service is fast and the people are really, genuinely friendly. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Great portions, delicious tofu dishes. I call ahead and get there 15 minutes later. My order is always ready. The woman at the front is very nice. My go to Chinese place

Hate to share this because I don't want it to get more popular (busy), but great Hole-in-the- wall spot. The food isn't greasy or over cooked, and the service is pretty quick. The lady behind the counter is a little rude, but the right kind. No time for dilly-dally. Love it

OH MY GOODNESS!!! I found this place on Yelp. Was in Long Beach & craving Chinese. Needed take-out & not expensive. Ordered online. FOOD IS EEEEXCELLENT!!! I would make a special trip just for this! Now, the restaurant looks Prepared to order & u can taste it. Tastes fresh, was HOT (I love when my food is hot) & my order was exactly as requested. If u want a place that has ambiance or beautiful decor, this is not for u. But if ur cool with a diamond wrapped in newspaper, this is ur spot.

Ordered hot & sour soup, king pau shrimp, egg rolls & pork fried rice. All I can say is AAAAAMEN!!!

First tine going there and good was amazing. It's not your regular Chinese food spot. It's one that you order things separately, but the give you a lot. Recommend calling your order because they seem really busy, however worth my wait. I've always drive by kind of skeptical than took a chance well worth it hands down

JJ's is a hidden gem! Excellent, fresh food at a great price. An unassuming establishment, located in a strip mall. Small restaurant with approximately 6 tables. Mostly take out or delivery. I've never been disappointed. Don't sleep on this one...:)!!
