This is such a well run office! The doctors are so knowledgeable and kind! I brought my dog in yesterday, they ran tests, explained everything well, and answered all of my questions. I feel so lucky to have such a great vet office in our neighborhood!

Been coming here for many years and my dog, Gingy is never afraid. The staff make her feel at ease and always welcome us with a smile.

Cats and Dogs provides the best and most compassionate care. My wife and I tried several vets in Long Beach but once we experienced CDAH we never went anywhere else! The entire staff is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, and professional. Honesty, we are blown away by this team. If you are in the fence at all— just make a visit. Your pet deserves the best care and this is it!!

I am so grateful to have an amazing reptile vet here in Long Beach. Dr Perrault has been taking excellent care of my kingsnake that developed an unusual gastrointestinal problem. He explains his methodology thoroughly, and is conservative with recommending any type of procedure or medication. All of the staff here are knowledgeable, very organized, and friendly. I am going to start bringing my cats here.

Dr Smith and her team are incredible. They truly treat our pets like family and I am so grateful to have found them. From starting the care process with our new kitties, to wonderfully caring for our high needs first cat - Dr Smith and her team have earned an immense amount of trust with our furry family. This is the best vet I have ever been to! The entire staff is friendly and helpful. My pup had a difficult case and the care that was extended was incredible! Dr. Smith is wonderful to work with and she is so patient with the pets. I felt we were in the best care possible. I am so appreciative of everyone at this office. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

We've been taking our pets to Cats and Dogs for about 15 years. The staff (Doctors & front Desk) has always been very helpful, informative and attentive. Any time I've ever had an issue, there's been a doctor available to help or have gotten advise over the phone. My pet's main doctor has always been Dr. Perrault and he's been great with them. Very well informed and professional. But, we have seen Dr. Smith on occasion and she's great as well. We highly recommend them.

I’ve been taking my dogs here for years. The doctors and staff are warm, caring, responsive and incredibly professional. I’ve been to several Long Beach vets in the past and none of them measure up to Cats & Dogs. Not even close! As long as I live in Long Beach I will remain a loyal client.

Hands down the best vet clinic in Long Beach. Very reasonable prices, a kind staff, and knowledgeable vets. Our dog always see Dr. Perrault. This clinic does not try to charge you for anything your pet doesn't absolutely need.They are hospitable and kind, and will answer any questions you have. We would highly recommend Cats & Dogs Animal Hospital to anyone looking for quality and compassionate care. You can definitely tell that everyone there loves the animals they take care of. We are so thankful to Dr.Perrault and his fantastic Staff!

My cat hates the car and is usually a wreck by the time we get to the vet. He had a full workup and everything went great, so the staff must have done a pretty good job because he was at ease on the way home. I also like the way the doctor, Greg Perrault talked to me about the tentative results. They also have a pretty cool computer system that gives you a rundown of all of the ranges and conclusions from the urinalysis.

I help my brother out with his doggie Bella, so I often come with him to his appointments. I can't express how amazing the staff and vets are here. Everyone is always so polite and professional. We will always be a client here!

There are no words to express how much compassion the entire staff has at this place. I came in because my Westie was in his final stage of passing and wanted to make it comfortable by euthinism, they saw me quickly and explained the process to me, making I understood and had as much time as I needed with him. The Dr. shared a personal story with me and that really sealed the deal on this whole experience for me.This was my first time doing this to a pet, I had him for 16 years and just over a month. I was heartbroken 💔 but the staff made this tragic time a beautiful memory I'll treasure in my heart forever. Thank you so much for ALL your kind hearts,during this difficult time. He peaceful passing made this process a lot more bearable.

We’ve been taking our pup here since we moved to Long Beach end of 2020. We absolutely love it. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We see Dr. Smith and she has always been very caring and attentive to our pup’s needs. Highly recommend.

We are so happy to have taken our pups to this vet clinic. We also feel very comfortable around the staff there, meaning I felt 100% fine with allowing the staff take one of my pups to the back and do needed medical procedures. The staff was very professional and friendly with my pups. The front office staff was also very helpful, friendly and professional with getting us started on our very first appointment. Moving on to the Dr., this was the very first time a vet took their time to explain diagnoses and treatment. She was extremely thorough and patient during the appointment. Yes, we spent a few hours in there but it was well worth our time as we left without questions and hopeful that our pup is on his way to recovery.

Brianna Abel and team took great care of my two dogs Audrey and Herman. Initially I was introduced to Dr. Abel because of her acupuncture services for our Pekingese (which I believed helped her). Because of her great care, we switched both of our dogs to Cats and Dogs Animal Hospital - this was about 5 years ago.

I know both of my dogs had the best care and guidance working with Cats and Dogs Animal Hospital. Unfortunately they both passed away due to old age. The care and love they both received towards the end of their lives was unsurpassed and the personal touch after our dogs passed away (like a sympathy card) was thoughtful and an unexpected pleasant surprise.

When I am ready for another dog, they will be my first call.
