I've been coming here for over 7 years now, the building is a old shipping warehouse, but has been innovated into the Nation's most advanced Electrical Training Center. It's always cool inside even when temperature reach over 100 degrees outside. And Air Handling Units are powers by solar, and Battery Banks. Building has state of the art Electric Equipment, allowing apprentices to get hands on. Sweet Building.

Five year apprenticeship program. Promotes 8,000 hours of hands-on work with 1,000 hours of classroom training to become a Journeyman Wireman in good standing with the IBEW.

The Electrical Training Institute (also known as the NetZero ETI) is an educational partnership of the Los Angeles Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, IBEW Local Union 11.

Tuition and books are paid for by local union members and not charged to the apprentices.

Apprenticeship allows new members of the IBEW to earn as you learn. You are indentured to work in Los Angeles County, which has an enormous amount of commercial and industrial electrical work.

Safety is a paramount value. Everyone attends Industry Awareness classes at the beginning of apprenticeship and will attend both OSHA-10 and OSHA-30 hour training at least twice within five years.

Advanced journeyman classes for: cable splicing; instrumentation; and foremanship (to name a few) are also open to apprentices who decide to take the initiative.

Electrical work as an industry is highly dynamic, and the demands of both business and consumers will constantly change.

EVITP (Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Training Program) Certification is one example of how the Electrical Training Institute has recently evolved in the 2020s. EVITP trained electricians are in high demand.

Great program to get you ahead in your career. Great instructors overall. Very nice building and mostly nice and newer era equipment. Food truck sucks. I wish they rotated food trucks or had someone who cared about the food. I got runs half the time from whatever i ate from it when I had to.
