That's where we divert 2,000 acre feet of water from the San Gabriel River to replenish the ground water aquifer and catch debris and trash out. Also great area for bike rides

Really peaceful and nice walk around the paths. Great to see the natural groundwater management the government is doing.

Very underrated area is very beautiful when the reservoirs are full full of life and space to escape the busy city.

Relaxing place to hang out. They recently cleaned up the trash around the place.

The fresh air

A lovely natural area with reservoirs and trails for hiking and biking. Trails are entirely flat, and some are paved. On the day I went, there weren’t many people at all, but I did see a couple of homeless encampments. There were many birds, including a great blue heron, a kingbird and a couple of different species of ducks. Some benches and picnic areas, no restrooms (as far as I could tell.) I entered through a gate on Paramount. Google maps directions were misleading.

Over 20 species of birds in 60 minutes - great birding hotspot.
