Casita Del Campo

Unique ambiance and excellent Mexican food. Staff is courteous and nothing is out of place. We arrived before the dinner crowd and were seated immediately. Our waiter checked in with us twice and then we waited a bit before dessert and to get our bill. Horchata is homemade and food was served hot with generous portions. The albóndigas did not disappoint, lentils are a great option too.
Great for large parties, lots of room inside or the outdoor patios.

May 31 - Large family party, celebrating a high school graduation. The staff did not miss a beat! Friendly and very accommodating. Excellent food, we were in heaven!

Been going to this restaurant for years it’s always consistent especially when you are hungry for delicious Mexican food and their margaritas are absolutely refreshing! What I love most is the music outdoors thru play all genres throughout the day and evening, the atmosphere is amazing! Try their Sunday brunch…

I threw my husband's 40th birthday at Casita Del Campo and was really happy we did. It was exactly what we were looking for. The ambiance was fun and welcoming, the staff was nice, and everyone was happy with their food and margaritas. We were meant to be out on the patio but it rained the day-of the event so when we arrived, the manager had already took initiative and moved us to a room just off the bar which we appreciated! Thank you Casita Del Campo!

This review is long overdue.... But goes to show what a fantastic experience I've had here if it's nearly five years later and a smile comes across my face every time I see them post on Facebook and then recall my two visits. Here is where I chose to have my first land meal after cruising for 12 days!! I opted for the carnitas solely based on "simmered garlic and oranges"! What kind of combo it s that? Who puts oranges in a Mexican dish? I could only assume... it would be delicious! Well...my assumption was correct!! Exceptional service accompanied my delicious lunch, again not a surprise. But if I'm going to be transparent... I need to discuss my first meal here... maybe 2015 or 16...and that is why I chose to have my first LA meal here. I drove all day from Phoenix, getting in late my buddy suggested we go here for dinner. We walked in maybe a half hour or so before closing. There was only one older gentleman sitting at a able....possibly the owner? I believe he said we could sit wherever. We opted for the table next to him. He came and joined us. My buddy & him stated to discuss that we wanted to grab dinner. The man said they were about to close. He suggested "I will pick what to order, the food that can be prepared the fastest". We agreed to let him order. He sat with us throughout our meal...it's been nearly a decade so I don't recall conversation just that he was the most delightful fellow. I instantly etched this place in my memory as a fa favorite based on his kindness and thoughtfulness. He could have sent us away... we're about to close, go on. He not only let us stay, He was kind enough to sit with us and make polite conversation. So if you find yourself in Silver Lake... heck if you're near Los Angeles definitely make your way to Casita del Campo; you will be so satisfied that you did!! Delicious food in a in a delightful & colorful setting, served by the friendlies of staff. Casita del Campo you are definitely on the top of the list once I venture out to LA again. Thanks for the wonderful smile-inducing memories, cheers!

This is a meat and non meat review!

The most surprising part of this restaurant is the Ambience! It doesn't look too appealing from the outside, but once you get inside the gate, a whole New world opens up in front of your eyes. The outside sitting is spacious and beautiful. The tables are made of Mosaic tiles. Beautifully done!

Alex, the concierge, is friendly and welcoming! The inside and patios sittings (lol, the bar areas is so dark for some shady activities 😁) is equally stunning and filled with beautiful paintings and artworks! There's a few patios, a bar, an attic for drag show. If you not going for the food, go there for the ambience.

The food, typical Mexican cuisine. Not bad. But portion is huge! Be ware! Little stomach eaters! 🥵😵😖 Complementary chips and salsa! Taste fresh!

The service, the people there are professionals, friendly, kind, and helpful. Our Waiter, Jesus, is handsome and awesome! He's so cool, but so friendly!

Didn't try the drinks! Not a drink person.

Came here for the first time while visiting LA, and experience is great so far! Food is good, drinks are strong, service amazing! I got the meatball soup and the half chicken dish, it was so delish! Love it! They play awesome music outdoors to create a whole vibe! Only issue I had was the bathroom stalls are sooooo tiny! Not handicap accessible at all, so anyone in a wheelchair would be out of luck. Maybe they had a different bathroom elsewhere that would accommodate, least I hope so.

I don't easily give 5 stars and Casita Del Campo is well deserving. We had a wonderful early evening meal and drinks in the patio. The margaritas were great, the guacamole was perfect and the shredded chicken tacos were very tasty. Sergio and Carlos provided great service and our bill was right at $100 which is a bargain in Silver Lake. We'll definitely be back here. Oh, the music was perfect as well!

Had a fantastic dinner experience. A bit on the pricier side but by God it's worth it. Highly recommend the shrimp enchiladas. Amazing ambiance (especially if you get a booth) and great service. 👌🏽💯😋

We met up with a large group at this restaurant and it was perfect for that. The food came out hot and the drinks plenty. Be careful because those double margaritas will sneak up on you! It’s worth it to get a double though because it’s only $3 more. I didn’t take pictures because we were just enjoying ourselves but the carne asada burrito was my favorite. The salsa was perfect too. Not too thick and not too runny.

We went first time today since all the pandemic started and it felt really safe. Tables were separated by more than 6 feet and the crew were so nice, polite, and welcoming. Beautiful restaurant. Big outdoor patio with nice water fountain and heat lamps. Food was amazing. Fresh chips and salsa and staff is very friendly. I definitely recommend this place for Mexican food.

Excellent service from the start, the food was delicious, well seasoned , the drinks were delicious as well, our waiter Christian was excellent, everyone was, the busboy, the hostess. Definitely well worth it. Definitely will be coming back and recommend to friends.
