Orange Coin Laundry Laundromat

The attendant this morning was so sweet. He offered everyone a cold bottle of water. It's so hot and so much appreciated. A really nice gesture. The place is always clean and the woman who attends to it in the mornings is very nice and helpful too.

Clean, lots of different sized machines (5 loads, 3 loads and one load). Machines take coin or credit card. I used the 3 load machine which cost me only $4.50. .25€ for 8 minutes of dry time in the dryer.
Large parking lot, accommodates several large RVs if needed. Grocery store located next to the laundromat.

The owner is so attentive to both the store and the customers. Hes great. Place is clean and neat. Machines are all fairly new and work well. It's not too big, but I've never seen it fully packed so that's good. This is my favorite laundromat to use!

This is my Go to Laundry Mat When I wash my Blankets, Always Clean, the Lady that's been here for Years, Moved and I miss her So much, We Always talked, She was a Genuine, Nice, Dwn to Earth Lady, She Would Offer Water, Ask if We needed help, Even offered some laundry detergent, because we ran out. She Always kept it Clean, Always, I know the Owner and Regular Customers Miss her! Ample parking, change machines, vending I would say Watch your Surroundings, because a few druggies do come ard sometimes, so just be mindful of that. But yeah give them a try, u wont be disappointed.

Clean laundromat within the Smart & Final strip mall. This is the only place I could use my credit card without any App. Reasonably priced & plenty of parking spaces.

Friendly staff who offer water bottles and clean constantly. The facilities are very clean. I just wish the double load washers actually held that much. They hold less than the single load washers so they fill up and I’ve had to wait for one. So I just go when it’s not busy and it’s fine.

We unexpectedly had to stay in town for a few extra days due to flight delays. This laundromat was clean, tons of machines, fast machines, friendly staff, helpful customers and staff. Overall a great experience!

Pleasant and clean

Pros: plenty of parking,clean machines, clean floors/folding tables,next to smart and final in case you get hangry,knowledgeable and helpful staff member early hours,plenty of machines available of various sizes.

Con: no bathroom but usually They’re a mess at laundromats anyway.

Clean and not crowded. No weird people here on Sunday mornings. Colorful walls. Has change machine for $1, $5, $10, and $20 bills. Ample parking.

Three types of washer: 7 top loaders $1.75, 8 double wide loaders $2.50, and 7 giant side loaders $4.

4 mega dryers, 2 other mega dryers, and 24 regular dryers; ranges from $5.75, &0.50, and $0.25 in same order.

Next to smart and financial so you can do some shopping.

When it gets busy, there will be limited top loader washer which is the most affordable. Sometimes there are machines that are out of order.

I loved this laundromat. The washing machines take debit card which is so nice and the staff is so kind and helpful. He really made doing laundry much less stressful. Best laundromat I have ever been to.

Unlike other locations in the immediate area...a staff person is almost always cleaning—that makes a big difference to me—add in the free water and easy parking and it becomes a 5 star in my book! *It seems like the “card” system at other locations only benefit the owners as opposed to customers.

One suggestion to staff: the baskets should also be regularly sprayed/wiped down.

One observation from a loyal customer to others: it’s small...if washers are almost full; come back later—the flow in a laundromat depends on the courtesy and common sense of others when it gets busy...odds are not in your favor. Less is better.

I had a great experience at Orange Coin Laundry! I hadn't been to this laundromat since it transferred ownership. Though I miss, Gary, the gentleman in charge of AM maintenance (during previous ownwership), Yolanda and Irene were friendly and personable. Yolanda answered my questions about machine capacities and the amount of liquid detergent to use. I was unfamiliar with the model of Speed Queen washers used in the facility. Why? Because the facility got a complete makeover! The previous incarnation had Speed Queen (SQ) 3x (triple) loaders and a few of the old style/model 5x loaders. Today, I counted: 7 Top loading Speed Queen standard commercial washers 8 SQ 2x, 7 SQ4X, 4 SQ6X, 24 standard load SQ dryers and 2 SQ colossal dryers!

Not a one had an out of service tag on them, the facility was well lit and clean and even in the dark hours of 7ish a.m. when I arrived, the persons without a home element was not there. Used to be...a gal had to fend off intimidating offers, from the aforementioned without a home element, to help carry laundry to her car.

And if the machine makeover weren't enough, the walls received brightly colored orange and green paint. Kind of made my happy to do my loads and loads of laundry.

I'd go back and I'd recommend it to my friends!

Its my fav, its so clean and enough dryers to washers. Yolanda is great and if you have a problem just let her know, also they always ask if you'd like an ice cold water on a hot day. One last nod..the owner is very nice and always says hi to people when he comes in and if something breaks he's there that day to fix it. Its our neighborhood laundry where you see your friends every week!

Always clean, attendant on site, very friendly.

The staff is helpful.the place is clean clean clean.there is airflow, fans, air conditioner, and staff asks if you are okay? comfy? you know checking to see if you need anything to help you complete your task without further ado. They aren't in your face bothering you. Just cruising alongside you there to help as little or as much as you need. Perfectly available to you. I like that.
They are telling the trurh;
They don't have a restroom HOWEVER they recommend using the one next door and do you know what?! I did. Without a hassle. Walked into the joint next door...asked for directions to the loo, got em and my business was handled, no hassle.no awkward rejection and tension..you know, flow. Without stress..
So valuable a commodity in todays world especially.
5 stars? Make that 10. Bonus for being next to a great grocery store for quenching thirst and snack needs during your work there. And by the way, thanks for being walking distance from my home.

Always very clean when I come in, they have different size washer and dryers. A vending machine for soap & other laundry needs. The woman who works there is very nice & is always cleaning up.

Wow, this laundromat is amazing it has been totally renovated new washers, new dryers and huge washers and huge dryers. I had never seen dryers this size in any laundromat before.Cost is the same if not better on 4 Load washers and 6 Load washers.This is the best laundromat in the neighborhood nice bright colors and very very clean. There is a big parking lot. This is next door to where Albertsons used to be.The lighting is good and there are surveilance cameras that makes it feel safe too.

I love this place! This is very clean, people are nice and give us bottles of water each time we come. We can pay with credit card! It's perfect! I have to move out, I will miss this place.

There is always someone cleaning every time I go. This is the cleanest place in Long Beach. They really take care of their facility. They offer you a bottled water. Thank you very much. Best in Long Beach.

I have had to haul my laundry to many a laundromat for many years. And yes "laundry has never been my favorite thing to do! Many laundromats I have been to are gross and dirty with really wierd people hanging around. Not a very pleasant experience. This laundromat was quite "the treasure to find."It is by far the cleanest laundromat I have ever been to. The attendant was cleaning and helpful. She helped me with laundry and folding tips. All the appliances are brand new and the prices are really great. The machines are very fast 27 minutes for washing 4 loads for $3.75. Actually, I have never seen extra large dryers before so I used one and drying time was very fast 20 minutes to be exact. Guess what....You can actually take the baskets out to your , Wow Factors - Flat Screen TVs' just made my laundry alot easier. Did I mention Air Conditioning..This laundromat is really Cool! I will definitely be back.
