I have to say, the owner/operator is above board with his skills as a barber and straight-razor shave services. His attention to detail and understanding of hair and skin is remarkable. His customer service and overall shop atmosphere are most enviable as it is a calm, inviting and comfortable environment. It feels like home.

These guys are awesome. They really care about their clients and give the best haircuts. They are also very reasonably priced. For the time they spend on your hair they are really inexpensive. I've been searching for a long time for a Long Beach Barber and finally found my place.

TIP: You may have to wait awhile so bring something to do, but it's worth the wait and they will take their time on your hair just like they did for the clients you had to wait on.

I like this place. I went here on a Saturday for an emergency cut and there was only one barber because the owner was speaking at a funeral. I had to wait a bit, but when it was my turn, the barber took his time with me like he did the customer before me. Place is small, nice and clean, quaint, and the man cutting my hair was very knowledgeable. I'll definitely come back

My fiance goes here once a month. His hair has never looked better. They really take their time on you. Joshua is fantastic and so sweet. Plus their prices are low compared to most other places around Long Beach.

Joshua the owner really knows his stuff. David cut my hair and did a terrific job under Josh’s expert supervision. I will happily come back next time I’m in the area. Prices are fair and the also take cards which is nice.

Ever since I discovered this place last year I have been coming back, my haircuts are always on point and they really put a lot of painstaking effort into making sure you get a quality cut.
The conversation is friendly and so is the staff.

Josh is a great guy. He took the time to figure out what I needed/wanted and then took the time to get it right the first time. There's only two chairs, and it's walk-ins only, so you might be waiting a while, but once you get in the chair, they'll make sure you're happy before you stand up. If you're in a hurry, go somewhere else. If you want it done right the first time, have a seat. There's even coffee and biscotti while you wait. Military/veterans who are walking in for the first time get special treatment.

Preach gives an outstanding haircut, he really is an artist, and his prices are almost too fair. I very much appreciate his excellent work and I know you will too.
