Modan Eagle Rock Ramen

I absolutely love this place. I've visited this place many times before and we always get the brussel sprouts.

This visit I got the kimchi ramen which was very much needed on a cold LA night because not only was it hot, it was spicy too. So watch out!

10/10 recommend.

This place has some of the best poke I’ve ever had. They have combos and sell them for a reasonable price. It’s incredibly delicious and I would definitely have it again. The ramen was good as well. Overall, the place has good service and pleasing interior design. I recommend this place.

Absolutely love this place. Definitely best in the area by far. Some cool stuff on the menu such as the kimchi ramen, which was huge!
They don’t have the biggest interiors so it does get busy... but you can join/check the waitlist online! Super convenient.
Also, nicest staff anywhere!!

Best ramen in the area! There broth is amazing! The chicken broth is good, but the winner here is the pork broth! Some other delicious options are the brussel sprouts, cury fries and there pork tacos! The tacos are a great way to start you dinner.

The location is small so there can be a wait, especially around colder times of the year. But the wait is 100% worth it!

Love this place! This place is tiny! Not that hard to find since it's in the plaza with Organic grocery store. Decorations are very interesting, farm house theme with modern style. Staffs are very very polite (with some sort of Japanese manners) and attentive. Dishes came out unexpectedly fast. On a regular Friday night, when usually Eagle Rock get quieter than Highland Park, this place still have lots people waiting outside. That's a good sign!
They have some vegan/vegetarian options for everything, such as vegi ramen, curry bowl, seaweed salad, etc.

The Vegi ramen can be made vegan with kelp noodles. I ordered vegi ramen with medium spicy. It's perfect spicy level for ramen that really satisfies my cravings. We also ordered Brussels sprouts per other yelpers' recommendation. It's flash fried. I think it's good but a bit too greasy and too hard. Seaweed salad is a safe play. Very typical Japanese seaweed salad flavor (which you can also get a huge box from Costco if you really love that salad.) A side salad was served in a big bowl, a surprisingly good portion of salad. I was too hungry and didn't taste that much about this salad. No comment.
Anyhow, I like this place so much. Will definitely come back very often. :)

I ordered the kimchi spicy ramen with pork it was absolutely delicious. And it was the biggest dish they have so it’s perfect for 2 to share. I would definitely recommend this place. And I will also be going back.

The vegetarian ramen was excellent. Piping hot with true depth of flavor. I made it vegan by adding the (kale or kelp, can’t remember) noodles! The spicy edamame was also delicious. The heat builds as you go so if you’re not a spice person, be forewarned!

Whenever I come here I always get ONE dish every single time. Pork belly rice bowl! Although this is a ramen spot, their rice bowls are delicious. Their pork belly ricebowl is perfect because it’s not too fatty and has great flavor. Their wait time and service is also quick and great. 10/10 recommend.

The best ramen I've had in the Glendale area yet. Cozy atmosphere and fast service. The ramen was delicious as well as the gyoza. Nice portions sizes, you'll definitely be full when you leave!

By far one of the best Ramen spots in Los Angeles this is a hidden gem forsure. Just wish they had some beers.

This place has non traditional ramen. It will look a little bit different than your average ramen place but I consider it a restaurant made by young millennials trying to bring a new spark to a dish that is able to have variation in many ways. The ramen tastes exceptional. There is a good amount of toppings that other places would charge $2 each for items such as an egg or an extra piece of meat. Definitely try this place and you will not be disappointed. In the picture you can’t see all the meat but they are under the broth and greens.

This place is amazing and well priced, our family comes here all the time. Our favorites are the black ramen and spicy modan.

The Mogan Ramen was delicious and surprisingly light. Unlike traditional ramen, the soup was light with a punch of flavor, and the noodles were perfect. The ramen is a wonderful combination of a traditional ramen with a hint of modern cuisine.

My son loved the vegi miso! Really cute restaurant with great food!

Wow! This ramen is truly savory and hearty! I got the spicy ramen with pork. Man, that pork was so tender and flavorful. Oh, and the Brussels sprouts were also full of flavor, beautifully roasted. Food comes out fast and service is friendly. Definitely would come again. Just a quick note, this place serves no alcohol. But it doesn't matter when the food is this good!!!
