Dave Fisher's Powerhouse Gym Torrance

This is such a wonderful gym! Great for bodybuilders, powerlifters, strongman competitors, as well as MMA and CrossFit! You name it, they have it! The outdoor portion is wonderful to accentuate your workout or do the entire workout outside! They have equipment as well as the turf area with tires, slides, heavy bags, etc. Indoor they have some amazing leg equipment- including a squat press and various hack squats as well as hip thrusters that can all be loaded with plates to your liking. If you're visiting anywhere in LA make this a definite stop if you are remotely interested in working out! This is one of our home gyms and it is top notch for service, cleanliness, and availability (The hours open are much more accommodating than for other gyms in our area).

One of the best fitness studios I have ever been to! Best of all, the coaches and members are down-to-earth and just good people. I will remain at the Dave Fisher's again basically due to Real Results.

I love this gym. Its packed full of equipment so even when its busy there is always a machine open. It also has a cool outdoor section for nice days you can lift weights outside. This gym is for people who like to lift weights. If you’re into yoga and aerobics classes and that sort of stuff, this gym isn’t for you. There is none of that.

Excellent gym for those who take lifting seriously, the staff are all very helpful and will give you great advice if desired. Dave is a great owner and very nice. There is tons of excellent equipment here and plenty of space to get in a great workout in a good environment. Its never been so packed that I can't get in the workout I want unlike other gyms such as 24 Hour Fitness and UFC Gym where everyone is just sitting around on equipment wasting time. I love the new edition of Dave Fishers Playground with all the calisthenics equipment outside I use it on every workout. This was the only gym in the South Bay I know of to stay open during the COVID lockdown fiasco and Dave is a legend for that! Only wish they had a water bottle refill station

Really one of the only smaller not corporate gyms in the area. Coming from jersey/ny area where powerhouses are the best gyms, it was nice to find this gem. Great price. Great people and no annual fees.

This is an awesome gym, we came from Seattle and stopped by to train and powerhouse did not disappoint. The atmosphere is amazing and to think of all the pros that have made it through there and such a wide variety of equipment what more can you ask for. We'll be back again and again!!

Dave Fisher has created one of the best training gyms in the LA area if you want hot towels and the spa treatment this place isn't for you. If you want an unparalleled training environment and staff support unmatched in the industry, Dave's Powerhouse Torrance is the place for you. Issy the Manager is amazing Make sure to ask the super reasonable lifetime membership.

From out of town and used the gym today for 20 dollars. Very nice facility, amazing selection of equipment. Liked using the outdoor section. Was nervous to go as I’m just starting to take my fitness very serious, felt judgement free to me!

Great facility. They have a lot of equipment, nicely maintained, and good crowd. Met adage and he checked me in and welcomed me. Will def use facility again when I’m in town and need to get my powerlifting training in. Thank you.

Pretty cool gym where you can find beginners and pros all working out together. Tons of equipment and attachments for every situation. Trainers are legit. Love working out here.

Best gym ever. Anywhere. Here is a rare rare gem. If you are serious about exercise, no matter your age, gender or condition this is the place. Excellent trainers are everywhere and very helpful. The staff are phenomenal....super kind, friendly and hard working. They are constantly cleaning, doing maintenance and tidying. I have never seen a business with such a high work ethic. This is not a plastic place for plastic people....it's real, honest and friendly. There's a wide array of cardio equipment in addition to everything else. Dave has done something really special and it speaks volumes about his character. What a gift.

Dave and his crew are great people. The gym has an old school feel with some great new equipment as well. The new outside training area is an awesome new addition. It's definitely the best gym in the area.

I just moved to Torrance a few weeks ago. The gym really is a dream come true. There's more equipment and racks here than my past three gyms combined. There's people of all shapes, ages, and genders lifting in all ends of the spectrum from beginner to elite. There's bodybuilders who at first glance people would judge as meatheads but in reality they're awesome and give great advice when approached. There's an fantastic dude who works out there who spent two hours of his own workout time giving me advice with my shoulder injury. This gym rocks!

We live in Redondo beach and this is the best gym with the most amazing trainers in the area. The gym is pretty hard core and easy to work out in. We joined as a family for a great discount. The equipment is just enough to get the results we need. My son loves this place too.

While I was in California for a couple weeks visiting with my ex-girlfriend's (I know sad story, right ? Woah is me lol) family, this was the closest gym to where I was staying. Upon entering the gym I was immediately impressed. I live in Ontario, Canada and no gyms here even compare in the slightest. I love the raw, powerful vibe along with fantastic equipment. I was on my path to compete in powerlifting and this gym had all the equipment to train properly without getting yelled at by staff. With all that said, Dave Fisher himself was extremely nice and seemed genuinely happy to see a fellow Canadian come through. If I'm ever in the area again this will be the gym I choose 100% of the time.

An amazing gym with great trainers! My trainer Henry is frickin' fantastic. The gym is spacious with loads of equipment. It's the gym that beats ALL gyms. It's all about the equipment and working out! No lunk alarms! Every level of fitness os welcomed and encouraged... No BIG I's and little U's here and I love it!!!

One of the best gyms I have ever been to front desk service people are very nice and respectful and awesome trainers I love this gym and will be back soon !
