Tokyo Central

After we finished lunch at King's Hawaiian we decided shop around in Torrance they we decided to go to the Tokyo Central Market it's a Japanese market they sell very thing from Japan and also the U.S. but most of the items are Japan. We enjoy items from Japan including for things for the house,personal items,sweets,snacks, liquor and so much. I like the drink especially the green tea and anime drinks like DragonBall Z,Pokman, even Hello Kitty etc. Even they sell Frito Lay chips like Cheetos,Doritos.

If you’re into Japanese culture and food - this place is heaven sent for you. They have literally everything you could imagine from food to clothing to personal care products and toys. Got a nice egg sandwich which had cucumbers and was freshly made. They have a little bakery on the side too which is separate.

they have an amazing variety of japanese products, staff is very friendly, and also have ready-made japanese meals which are very easy to heat up and delicious

I love this place so much !!!especially when they have like events or promotion like this.almost half of the store is on sale.Their sushi is amazing here ....super fresh something you can get from an authentic sushi restaurant.we get our ice cream fix here as well as they have a wide variety of Japanese ice cream.We love to get our noodles here as well.

One of the best Asian grocery stores that I always buy bags of rice, etc. The one on Sepulveda there comes with an added benefit of being right next-door to. Daiso.

You have to get the poke bowl or poke burrito @ the fresh poke bar! Amazing! Great customer service from a lovely lady too.

They are a famous supermarket in Japan. The name is Don Quijote(Donki-hote ドン・キホーテ). They are like Wallmart in Japan. Japanese grocery and kitchen ware, small appliances are available.

Good selection and prices. The Gardena location is prime if you want the largest selection and more space.

Pretty small compared to other Tokyo Central groceries. It also doesn’t have a food court or a microwave, if you want a quick bite, better pick ones that aren’t meant to be heated up. They do have the essentials covered though which was good.

If you planning on cooking Japanese food this is the store to get all your Ingredients. I also like their ready to eat food, you just heat it up in the microwave. From rice bowl, bento, and sushi roll. Also wide selection of instant ramen 😋

Great prices on the sake ! Love the fredhness of their fruits and veges. And the pre-made sushi are yummy and price is good for what you get! They also have discount on their sushi after 5pm which is a great deal.

This place is the bomb!! The employees here are phenomenal. I absolutely loved my experience and would go here again. I had to ask the employees for help so many times because it was my first time there and I was shopping for my job. Even though they had to run around the store for me helping me find things, they did it with a great attitude and found a way to make me not feel embarrassed about asking them so many questions. For the quality of product they provide(which is excellent) , are outstandingly affordable. Excellent store. 5 stars.
