Best souffle pancakes out there. Recommend their avocado toast, breakfast croissant and berry souffle pancakes.

Beautiful little place with tea lining the walls! Staff was very nice and informative, seating was really comfy and I really enjoyed our food, we had the ube waffle and the avocado toast. My only note was that the ice cream was a bit crunchy with ice? But it tasted fine. The avocado toast was really filling and the egg was poached perfectly!

The food was great and the service was fast. I was looking for the Tiramisu Souffle pancake but they did not have it. We got the Banana Souffle pancake and Strawberry Souffle pancake. I was surprised with the souffle pancakes, they were so soft and fluffy. The icing or cream they put on it was not too sweet, it was just right. The Matcha Strawberry tea was also good.

I had the salmon eggs Benedict on a fluffy pancake. The hollandaise sauce was warm and thick and the fluffy pancake was just awesome. I was extremely pleased with the food and the presentation.

Finally gotten around to reviewing one of my go-to dessert places. Love their soufflé pancakes and ube waffles. Although this visit the waffle was more crunchy and toasted, rather than waffley (soft inside and slightly crispy on the bites), so it was rather difficult to chew.
Tried the ube latte for the first time and it was actually pretty good. Most ube lattes I've had fail to capture the ube flavor and tend to taste very starchy. Basilur seems to have this drink down, but I've only had it this first time so can't say about consistency like I can with the waffles.
The soufflé pancakes has always been consistently delicious with every visit.

We went on Easter and it was delicious! Very good food and tea and the soufflé pancake was really unique and delicious, I definitely want to try it again in different flavors as well (I got caramel last time). My only criticism would be that the tea time set that I took a picture of needs more savory items rather than the amount of sweets it has. It would be nice to maybe add a few more small finger sandwiches and have less cheesecake/macaroons. The cakes were delicious but it’s nice when it’s balanced out and not all sweets. I would definitely come again though! Everything tasted great and the environment is really nice inside.

I have been here a few times and never been disappointed! They are consistently good with their breakfast items and bingsoo (shaved ice) desserts.

I love their fluffy pancakes the most and the interior is very cute and has a little small European inspired cute cafe look.

Just be aware the pancakes takes 20 minutes to prepare.

I loved everything about my visit here. The food was super delicious. The drink was refreshing. Everything was beautiful and creative. I especially loved the cake in the flower pot! I brought a friend for her birthday and it's a great spot for pictures and delicious food. The price is a little high, but I think it's worth it, especially in a group so you can all taste different dishes.

Was recommended by my sister to come here for a work meeting. I ordered a ube latte with oat milk (+$1). I was told the ube is a dairy-free concentrate so yay! It was so pretty & lovely to drink. The barista was friendly & patient in answering all my questions. She made my drink about 131 degrees so not too hot but warm enough to enjoy. They did not have dine-in mugs d/t a COVID-19 rise so I'm hoping when the numbers go down, I will be able to enjoy this delicious drink in a reusable mug. The interior was eclectic and posh. I saw one table with outlets but many other tables for relaxing or conversing. Outdoor seating available. One-person restroom located within. No cash payment. They accept Google/apple pay in addition to debit/credit cards.

Wonderfully delicious fluffy pancakes and coffee. I got the vanilla latte and fruit pancakes. Not too sweet and good portions . Also really cute bookshop-esque aesthetic .

Yes, the tea is slammin’ but I only found this place because of the soufflé pancakes. Which were great. Come here in the morning on a weekday, no wait. Also it’s on the first floor, closest to the Beach/Orangethorpe intersection.

This is my first time trying ube latte and it is beyond perfection !! It tastes heavenly and I would recommend you try it when you come here. Love the cafe decoration; classic yet modern in its own way. Last but not least, the fluffy pancake is way better than I expected. Yummy!! I would come back anytime soon.

Came on a Sunday afternoon and found an open table for 2 easily. We walked to the register to order and then went to sit at a table. We ordered one strawberry souffle pancake and one Basilur tea set. The tea set is $25 per person; however, we ordered the set for one and split it because we weren't that hungry. It came out to about $48. Pricey, so I'd go for an occasional treat. The souffle pancake came out in 5 minutes, so that was nice. It was delicious! We got the raspberry rosehip black tea, which was not too sweet and not too strong. The tea set was good, but we were too full to finish everything after the pancakes. There is an area to the right of the registers to place your dirty dishes.

This place is located at the Source OC, which is a Korean mall located off beach and orangethorpe. You'll have to park in the parking structure (parking is free). Basilur is located on the first floor at the far right corner towards Beach. You can find it next to Jamba Juice.

Great Eggs Benedict. I love that the muffin is slightly sweet but not too much. The soufflé was great too. The matcha bitterness is not too overwhelmed by the sweetness.

Everything me and my partner got was all so delicious! We got the ube latte, ube waffle, and caramel latte. It was all so great that we're coming back tomorrow morning to get it all again, it was that great!

I ordered the croissant sandwich, it is a bit bland. The Spanish Latte is a bit too sweet for my taste but the espresso did ok.

Food and service are both great. The Sri Lanka tea collection is wonderful. There are a few small things they could improve on (for example, the menu could use better presentation, and sometimes the table can have a few sticky spots), but I wouldn't take a star away for it.

Their specialty souffle pancake is truly special. Had the 🍓 one and it's excellent. Not too sweet, and you can really taste the pancakes.

I loved the tea taste and how cozy this place was and staffs were very nice but just be aware of long wait for food orders but it's worth it.
