USC Medical Plaza Pharmacy

I truly love LOVE this Plaza Pharmacy. I have been using them since my transplant on December 2018. Never had an issue with anyone. Except a with a negligent "girl" with attitude by phone. Other than that. Not a single issue! Oscar is GREAT and very professional both by phone AND in person.
Keck is too far, so we (my wife and I) opted for their mail-order service. Delivery company is also very prompt and courteous.
Wife has a "system" where we order by phone ALL THE TIME. thus alleviating useless human contact in the midst of this Pandemia

They've always been very good. Only thing is that they now charge to mail my prescription, so one star off for that.

Have been using them for important medications for almost a year. Never had a problem, and the supervisor once went way beyond her normal duties to help with a difficulty caused by insurance

UPDATE: have been using them about a year and a half. They usually have few problems reordering medications, but I follow up the next day every time I reorder meds, because reordering is not consistently reliable. Especially hard was when meds had to be re-prescribed due to running out of refills--I had to make a lot of calls for that, and it took several days plus a drive to pick them up in person. I later learned for the first time that I should have called a different number ("the refill desk"), but it would only have saved me a call or two, because the main problem (as I infer) was that the doctor hadn't had time/hadn't noticed the re-prescription order, and the refill desk had stopped thinking of it as their responsibility once they sent the order to the doctor.

I consider 3 stars a "good enough but look elsewhere if you can" rating. Past a year, they let you transfer your prescriptions to a local pharmacy. I still use them for low-priority meds, because they are cheaper and have a good delivery system when it works.

Avoid. The only good thing i can say about this place is that in general everyone is very nice. However problems abound. I've waited over an hour for prescriptions even when no other people were there. Many times i would call in to make sure my prescription was ready only to drive in and be told they didn't actually have enough on hand to fill my prescription and to come the next day. Using this pharmacy will lead to a big waste of your time. Keck needs to put way more resources into this pharmacy because its a real sore spot. Just have your prescription sent to CVS or Walgreens.

Not very helpful or polite nor willing to do anything more than bare minimum. There's a couple employees who have been there a while that are pleasant but haven't seen much of them during my last visits. They're the reason for the second star.

Slow, inattentive service. They don't pick up when you call.
