Dr. Michael Dounel, DMD

Dr. Dounel is a wonderful dentist! He is always so professional, his dental work is amazing, and he is patient and thorough. I've been going to him for years and cannot recommend enough.

Greatest dentist in the area! I had a bunch of dental work this year. He was kind, patient, & had a wonderful staff. I highly recommend him.

Very clean and professional environment. Dr. Dounel was accommodating and suggested an alternative treatment rather than simply go with an extraction in order to save my tooth. He went over a monthly payment plan that would work with my finances and with no interest. Prompt and efficient treatment, I was in and out in no time. I am currently pregnant, so he and his staff took necessary measures to assure my baby's and my safety. He was able to take me as a last minute walk in, and a new patient. Been coming for years. Dr. Dounel makes sure to listen to his clients and take care of them. I've had had the worst experience with other doctors and Dr. Dounel made sure I was taken care off and made me feel at ease and pain free. Staff is very professional and pleasant as well.

I love, love, love Dr. Dounel. I have been to many dentists and they were quick to say you need this and that, Dr. Dounel has NEVER done that to me. He will recommend you to a specialist and offer you to go get other opinions. I appreciate that very much and would highly recommend you to go to his office. He is gentle. The office was very clean and the staff very professional. The doctor did not make me wait, I was in and out. Very reasonable prices and very personal service.I highly recommend Dr. Dounel, he is very kind and attentive.

After giving this doctor another try, things got better. He is a good doctor however his chair side manner could use a lot of work. Other than that I would recommend someone to see him.

Whoever answered the phone was wild! I was in an accident at around 11pm at night on a Friday in June! After visiting an ER we call this place who is stating they are 24hrs..

My bf is in a panic, I'm crying. This guy answers like we're annoying him. My bf explains the situation and asks if we can be seen and he says "Im at home, do you not think i have anything better to be doing?" I hear my bf getting annoyed saying then "why tf you offering 24hr service!! why even answer?" uh.. VALID!!!

Whatever, they calm down and he tells us to see him at 6am. Not cool but options are limited! We live in OC so we dont even sleep and around 5am we start calling asking if were still on bc we would need to make the drive! He responds at 7:08AM PT asking to go at 9 am! By 6 am we are already making moves with other reputable dentists/ surgeons. He calls at 10am asking where we're at! the nerve right? We say "oh no thanks we're already getting help elsewhere" and hes an AHOLE about it! Like "Ok thanks for wasting my time goodluck to your gf" Dripping with sarcasm!! I was shocked! what a weird way to conduct business!!? my bf calls him back telling him to pretty much.. kick rocks.

In hindsight im glad we saw his true colors! We made the right decision going elsewhere! Teeth are all good now :):)

Only posting this as I just saw this guys response to my bfs review claiming he was drunk! what a wild accusation!!!!!!!!!

I’m certain all these reviews were made by his staff or people he knows. He’s so inconsiderate and rude. He tried making me come in for an appointment, I told him I had work and he said “that’s going to be an inconvenience for me.” He kept aggressively pulling my jaw during the appointment as well as making passive aggressive comments. i understand people need help during emergencies but not with him.

Just called to make an appt whatever guy just answered the phone is horrendous worst attitude ever I'm disgusted. 2/11 at 11:58 I mean I will find another dentist this is horrendous

Answered then hung up on me twice. Not sure whats going on but im not too happy. I have an emergency and heard they were good for this.
