I’ve always been skeptical about auto repair shops, but I was so thankful when I found George. He was so kind and accommodating from the start. I felt like he genuinely cared about helping me and wanting to fix my car as soon as possible. He ended up turning my car around in less than 2 weeks! He and team did an amazing job and I was so thankful. Would definitely go to him again if I needed to. Definitely recommend!!

George is amazing! He educated me on what needed to be done to my car so I could properly understand and decide how I wanted to proceed. They gave me an estimate before doing anything, and he also fixed a few scratches on my car for free! They’re all so sweet and I had a great time chatting with them while waiting for my car. This is the first time I felt like I wasn’t being taken advantage of at an auto shop. I will be back!

My experience with Amy and George was AMAZING!! They were so kind and easy to work with, and the service of my car was much faster than promised! A week long process was done in just 2-3 days and they went out of their way to make sure I was accommodated. I will be coming back here for ANY auto issues, the 5.0 reviews across all platforms are much deserved. And their dog is pretty cute too.

George and team are fantastic. My VW car battery died and him and Amy helped me get it sorted same day at an extremely reasonable price. Even though it was later in the day, he met me where I was and jumped it so I could drive it to the shop without having to get it towed. Then, I was in and out within the hour! He clearly explained the options I had for the battery, and even checked my oil for me and added some. Amy also walked me through some of their pricing for other services, and they're all extremely fair and reasonable! I already know I'm going to be coming here for all my car service needs going forward!!

Honestly the only place I will take my car for repair. George and Amy have been in the business for 20 years for a reason! Not only do they have top-tier knowledge and expertise, but they are so incredibly honest and seek to always give you the best quality service. George and Amy clearly care about their customers. George will even provide recommendations if the repair needs to be done elsewhere for what best suits the car. Honesty, professionalism, expertise! A and G is simply the best!

I am not a cheap or easy date, and I am a hard sell on mechanics and service professionals etc...I have a very high standard and expect it to be met so I am often disapointed...

I recently brought in my 2015 Mazda CX-5 in for repairs, and while my previous mechanic was trying to bleed me by fixing superficial problems that weren't solving the issue the team at A&G got down to the issue immediately uncovered what was a pretty big issue with the car fixed it promptly and kept the cost down on what could have been a huge bill pretty well.

I had such a good experience that our 2019 Mazda CX-9 was in a little accident so we brought it into A&G for the body work. Let me tell you I have never had a better body shop experience the car came out looking brand new with all original parts and paint they fixed the car so fast I was blown away...I will legitimately never use another garage or body shop ever again. FAST, HONEST, CARING, and someone who is always looking out for their customers...THAT IS WHAT GEORGE AND THE TEAM AT A&G ARE THE DEFINITION OF QUALITY SERVICE

After calling a few shops, I decided on going here. They were by far the least expensive and quickest mechanic I’ve dealt with in Los Angeles. I’ll be coming here over Valvoline for all of my oil changes from now on. I worked with George, Mike, and Amy. They were all very polite and knowledgeable.

I got into a horrible accident and didn't have the right insurance coverage. I'm so grateful to George for how helpful he was. Truly no one else would have been so kind, helpful, and done it for the price he did. My car was in the shop for about 2 months and he regularly sent me messages and had me come look at the car. Him and his wife truly went above and beyond and I am so grateful for them.

I cannot say enough good things about A and G!! They have helped me multiple times, with both body cosmetic work and window repair. They’re super fast and reasonably priced and I only ever go to them for any repairs my car ever needs. Don’t bother going anywhere else, they’re the best around!

George and his team truly provided an excellent service. I appreciated his transparency, communication, and above all his honest attitude. He makes sure you understand what's going on with your car and quoted me a FAR better price than six other shops. They also know all the ins and out on dealing w insurance, and can give you valuable advice to make sure you're getting the best result and experience. Will gladly direct any of my friends or family to him, already 2 so far, and they've had equally awesome experiences!

I cannot say enough good things about this place and the owners. They are genuine, hard-working, honest, and do great work. I came in very upset about my recent accident, I was worried about the cost and how long I’d be without a car. They were more concerned about me and making sure I was okay before they ever even looked at the car. George worked around a lot of obstacles I had, including a breathalyzer in my car which prevented them from being able to start my car or move it from one place to another. They did not try and up-charge me for anything, or sell me parts I did not need, in fact they ended up saving me money in the end. They have been more than accommodating, helpful, and genuinely kind people (which can be hard to find in LA). They would give you the shirt off their backs if you needed it. I came because of the 5 star reviews, and after spending five minutes with them I could see why. My car looks better than it did before, I’d give this place 1,000 stars if I could. George did an excellent job restoring the side of my 2018 GLC300 at a very fair price. He also provided me with options for various services I needed and never pressured me into doing more than I was comfortable with. I’ll definitely be going to George again!

Honestly, I was skeptical of the near-perfect reviews, but I can attest that they’re genuine after my positive experience.

I had my 2019 Honda Civic's front-end fixed 2 times at this spot. First time through insurance and second out of pocket. My car came out good and looks new, everything went smooth.

My Mazda SUV bumber/fender were badly cracked. A & G fixed it quickly with a competitive price and it looks like new.

Best auto body shop on the west side Los Angeles. We needed a fast turn around because we are pregnant and they completed the job in 2 days. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

George and the team are fantastic. I brought in my 2022 Bronco after someone vandalized it. George has great attention to detail and noticed a lot more issues than I initially did. He worked with me to file a comprehensive insurance claim. George and the rest of the team at A&G were very nice and go the job done quickly. George even went above and beyond and got me wheel locks for my stolen tire. As someone who doesn't know anything about cars, I felt like I could trust George. I will be a customer for life. Where do I start! I truly could not have imagined a better mechanic experience. 10/10!!!!

My car got hit while parked on my street and had significant damage (you can see in the photos below) and I didn't have a go to mechanic since I just moved to Venice. I decided to try out A&G because of the good reviews and due to proximity. The insurance company said they would only cover up to $5,000 in damages, and George said he would tow my car for free and give me an estimate. Once he had the car, he spoke with the insurance company himself - and when they tried to tell him they were going to total my car because the damage was more than the car was worth - he fought for me/my car and agreed to make the repair cost meet the $5,000 and he did an incredible job!! He texted me updates and made what could have been a horrible experience beyond pleasant. My car is in incredible shape and without him they would have totaled it!

Once I got home from picking up my car (that looked better than before it got hit!!) I noticed the blinker wasn't working and I went back and he fixed it for free. I will without a doubt be going back to A&G for any car repairs in the future and have already recommended him to countless friends. I never leave reviews but the experience was too mindblowingly wonderful not to share!!

George Kalad at A&G Auto Repair and Body Shop is one of the coolest human beings I’ve ever met. Extremely kind, professional, talented and an all around rock star. I desperately needed help getting my windshield fixed, along with body work - something that other shops had turned me away for, or gave me a months wait to schedule me in… But George, and the incredibly talented team at A&G got me in right away, and also completed everything perfectly 4 days earlier than predicted! They keep you updated, they are honest and transparent throughout. They are miracle workers here, and great people! Send everyone to this team.
