Great staff! Been wanting to stop in, go ally did and I’m glad for it! Good portions for the price. Food is great! If you want to have an authentic old fashioned diner experience then you MUST try this restaurant!

I've come here now for a few years. Usually go here after Sunday Mass with my daughter, sometimes entire family. Always great atmosphere. Service is awesome, food is good. Family owned, always ♥ get that family welcome 🙏. Hopefully when it's passed down, service continues to be A+. Highly recommend 👍. Everything I've eaten here was good.

Great coffee shop with a classic era atmosphere. Menu has a wide variety of reasonably priced food choices and the staff are friendly and attentive. A local favorite of the San Fernando PD, so you know it's gotta be good!

James Restaurant has been there for many years. Now that it has a new owner. I could see the improvements in food, new upholstery in the booths, good courteous service. We had breakfast there. It was excellent.

Lovely restaurant. My family brought me over saying it's been around for a long time. And always had great food. The elders weren't wrong lol
Ordered a Denver omelet with a Belgium Waffle on the side.
OMG, the waffle was so soft, fluffy and tasty. The omelet was tasty with adding salsa to it.
Definitely coming back again.
Parking is one way in and out. There is plenty of parking behind the building, or on the street.
Overall, 10/10.

I'm not a foodie. James' Restaurant is where you go to if you want good, simple food. There are no fancy fusions of anything. A burrito is a burrito and scrambled eggs are scrambled eggs. The atmosphere is family friendly. The servers are attentive and nice. The food is delicious. Keep in mind that the menu is huge. You'll have choices when you sit down and are ready to eat. One negative that has to be mentioned. Parking is limited and the spaces are small. Don't bring the huge 4x4 truck or massive SUV. Our Ford Flex fits...but barely.😂

So good! This is definitely a must try if you haven't been to this place. Huge portions and excellent service! Very clean establishment! Try the sirloin steak and eggs! The steak is absolutely tender and flavorful!

James' Restaurant is a step back in time, but not as a kitschy homage to diners -- rather as a diner still doing things right, nearly 70 years later. The menu is large, and varied. The food is cooked and presented with obvious care, and the service is cheerful.
You get to pay at the counter, with a real, fully functional cash register if you use cash (do it!).
Parking is free, with more around the back.

I loved everything about this place. Everyone was nice & the food was great ! I got pancakes & some chilaquiles, super good. I can’t wait to come back with my family ✨✨

I've been eating there off and on for many years. They have had good and bad years, but this time, we had a great experience! The service was great and the food was plentiful and delicious!! We didn't even have to wait to be seated. I highly encourage everyone to enjoy a meal there if you haven't and to go back again if you've been away for a while. You won't regret it.

This place is Amazing I give it 10Stars if you like old fashion mama and Pop coffee shop this will be the place to go. This a family own business! The food has flavor, customer service is wonderful. I love this place it's my new spot to go to.

It looks small from the outside but no it's big establishment inside they have seating outside also. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED HERE AT JAMES RESTAURANT... WE went there on Sunday at 12:30pm and was seated right away..
Oh and the price is affordable.. please stop in and enjoy the food and serve with great conversation with the staff and owner...

Decided to check this place out on mother's day. I am very pleased with my decision. Great food and excellent service. I will definitely come again.

The food is delicious it's home cooking for a good price! The staff is friendly and it's a family restaurant. It is busy on Sundays but they move really fast. I will definitely return.

Yes, I fell in luv already & my 1st time eating there 🤗👌💯‼ Restaurant was nice, clean, very 👍👍👍 hospitality, luv waitress patience & suggestions & quiet in my own little section. It took awhile to figure out 😳 I wanted & there was big variety of food to choose from, this is what stomach & waitress input this is what suggested. Luv it🤗💯‼
