Redac Gateway Hotel

I originally booked for 2 nights and was fortunate to extend for a total of 14 nights consecutive. I've been in and out of hotels the past 9 months, and I can tell you that for the money, you will get more here than most of the country. I wrote this April 12, 2024. This place is very clean. The staff is very friendly, accommodating, and professional. And apparently good enough for a continuous Japanese clientele. I an sold, and telling all my friends visiting Los Angeles, California that they should DEFINITELY CONSIDER REDAC GATEWAY HOTEL ON WESTERN AVE!!!

I love this hotel!!! We went there in 2018 and I can still remember that I enjoyed this place. It’s just a small hotel but it’s very comfortable. To me, they serve the best breakfast. I’m Asian so I love rice, bacon and salmon but they also have the typical American breakfast like cereal, bagel and others. Oh and this is the only hotel I know that have bidets in their toilet, how cool.😎 LOL. If we go back to California, we will definitely stay here again. 😊

Interesting hotel. It looks to be Japanese owned, which was interesting, by including a fancy bidet toilet. Nothing fancy, but very clean room, and efficient check in. That's the check boxes for me. Very good, overall. I'd be happy to stay here again. I would love it if the coffee shop was open on weekends.

I stayed in this hotel during the US Shogi Tournament 2024 and it was a fantastic experience. Easily the best hotel breakfast I've ever had, the staff was very nice, and the location is very close to a lot of good restaurants and things to do. I definitely plan to stay here again if I'm ever in the area.

This hotel was a great find. As a professional house cleaner I can say my room was VERY clean. Check in was super easy and we enjoyed our 2 days stay. I would stay here again

Great for a budget friendly hotel near LA. Rooms are a little outdated, but they did a great job at giving it a modern touch. The coolest part of the room was that the toilet came with a bidet. Friendly staff and tons of available free parking. Overall, satisfied with our 2-day stay and we would definitely stay there again.

We only stayed at the Redac for a few nights, but I so wish we would have booked here first before trying another hotel in the area! The room was great and clean and quiet. The lobby is beautiful, we didn't get to spend much time there as we were only there for a few days, but it was amazing! The location was great too, just a short walk or Uber ride away from a lot of cool locations. Next time we're in the area we're booking the Redac first!

Clean comfortable friendly staff complimentary beverages were wonderful location was central to all of our venues. Only thing I would say was walls were thin

Very nice hotel with a big space of free parking. The room was very clean. We got help from Alexis who provided good service and help cause we made a mistake with the booking. I would recommend going to this hotel and I will book it again if I come back. Very nice place and very friendly staff.

Given the location and price point, this was an excellent hotel. I did a lot of searching and I'm confident I got the best hotel I could for the price I paid. The staff was very helpful and was able to check me in about 30 minutes early. Also, my room had a really nice bidet and warmer! I didn't even know I'd like it but it was fun to try. As long as you are able to manage your expectations for LA prices, you'll be happy with your stay here.

Staff is very nice here. All in all was a good experience. The room smelled of fresh paint and carpet, so much so, that the fumes never died down and we didn't get used to them. Bidets are installed on every toilet and you feel like you have less room on the remaining opening of the toilet. The TV was small for the room but worked okay.

A nice hotel with soaking tub and heated bathroom. I stay there weekly on business. Nothing fancy in the rooms but excellent price for the area. Air conditioning is a wall unit and these are a bit dated, so can be very loud. However if you like white noise with sleeping, no big deal.

Very nice black lady at the front desk. I wish I can date her🤣❤❤. I like her spirit. Very clean rooms. Decent TV. Good customer service. Clean bathroom had to take shower twice 🤣. I wish I knew you before I went to a nasty motel 6 paying 40$ extra.

It's wonderful, I loved it. The rooms are spacey, the bathroom facility has heated seats that also clean your rear. The staff is very pleasant they know the meaning of customer service. Price 98 to 142 a night the showers are relaxing the beds are comfortable. It's quiet and peaceful. They serve breakfast but not doing this virus thing. . They are definitely sticking to the rules. You will enjoy it. They have a gym and laundry on site, take your sweetie and enjoy yourself. I will take some pics for you.

Ok. I read many of these reviews prior to my stay, but decided to check it out. The front desk staff was very professional and I loved my room. It was clean. My flight was delayed and I arrived at around 2am.

Within 10 min of entering my room I received a knock at the door. A gentleman greeted me with a welcome gift bag with variouss items that I might need which included a pair pf house slippers. . Now tell me what American hotel does that!

The continental breakfast was a mixture of American and Japanese which.was good. This will be my hotel of choice when I come to the area for business. No I not an employee making this post! Please disregard all of the negative statements on here.

Not too sure about the hidden cameras or maybe there were? Not too sure, I wasn't in the room long enough to notice or care. The room was awesome, toilets were awesome, everything was clean. Definitely not outdated , very welcoming. Wish there was a little more parking. Also wish the gym was open and that Starbucks or whatever that place is downstairs was open, but other than that awesome place!

I was a road warrior for 10 years and stayed in hotels all over the country for over 200 days a year. This is the best value I've ever encountered. Rooms are great, bathroom has a heated seat and bidet - worth the price of the room right there. Staff is competent and friendly. Nice bar/restaurant with a good buffet breakfast and a nice dinner menu. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is clean and the rooms are big. The hotel staff are very accommodating and hospitable. It's 20 mins away from the airport and may be a bit far from all the tourists attractions but they have free parking so if you drive this won't be a problem. And it's cheap too. However, the exhaust fan on the bathroom makes a weird loud sound. This isn't a big deal for us but future and some guest might find annoying. But overall my experience was wonderful.
