Tokyo Hibachi

First time going to Tokyo Hibachi. The food and the service was great, very welcoming staff. Our chef Raul was great and lots of fun. Will be going back very soon.

First time here. This ended up being our plan B for the evening and we only found it doing a search for Hibachi restaurants in Carson. We got in for an early dinner so there was no waiting. The staff was friendly, efficient, attentive, and professional. We tried a few different apps and each of us got a different meal....everything we got tasted fabulous! There wasn't anything we didn't enjoy! We will definitely come back again another time!!

Definitely recommend coming here it is 10x better than Benihana. Everyone is so welcoming, customer service was on point, they make you feel like family. Shout out to “tio Juan” I’m not sure if he’s either the owner or manager. The food was really good and the chef was very accommodating to our specific food preferences. Wait time was less than 20 minutes on a Sunday around 5pm.

The best place to eat hibachi. Juan is an amazing host. If you love Benihana, you will never go back to Benihana after trying Tokyo Hibachi! Guaranteed!

The food is absolutely delicious. Chef Jesus made it so fun and entertaining, especiallyfor my son's birthday. Definitely coming back.

Great hibachi experience! The whole thing start to finish was about 75 minutes which is great! Chef was awesome and food was tasty!

Tokyo has been our go- to for MANY years. Absolutely love the owners and employees, their service, and some of the BEST Japanese food!

I've been here twice and it has always been great service, great food and great chefs. The manager will always come over to the table after we are done eating and ask us if we enjoy the food. It is a busy place, so I'd recommend getting reservations ahead of time and please be patient as you will still need to wait a bit for a table to clear up.

Had a great experience. The food and our chef Carlos was so awesome. He made it entertaining and food came out amazing. All around service was super good. Made reservations for a party of 7 and got right in. A definite must teppan. Thanks Carlos!

Have gone here twice & each time we didnt wait longer than 10 min. to be seated @the bar . The sushi rolls are always perfection and the staff are always smiling & efficient . Great experiences both times. Goodbye Tsunami in H.B hello Tokyo Hibachi in Lakewood !!

For Dinner friday night we had Ribeye,Vegetable plate, Chicken fried rice and Scallops they were all delicious. Enough food for leftovers.

This was a really fun restaurant! The food was great and the service was awesome.

And, we really enjoyed the people that we sat with. We had a batch of cousins from Kenya on one side and a local Long Beach couple on the other. Very fun to talk with them!!

Always a great time, good food , and atmosphere. One large dining area. Plenty of tables and they do their best to turn the tables quick so the waiting is not long. Don't get me wrong. This place does get packed and you can be waiting a long time just because of how many people

This is a hibachi style Japanese restaurant. The chef's cook right in front of you. If you are on the shy side like myself and just want good food, the bar is great

They also serve sushi. The sushi bar is a nice welcome environment, everyone's friendly. I highly recommend this place

My favorite appetizer is the shrimp with scallops. It is amazing.

The food is so delicious, the service is amazing, and the whole experience is top notch!!!
