Sand Piper Motel

Went to a 2-day music festival at Expo Park and this was perfect for what I needed. No frills or thrills but it was a clean and comfortable place to rest after the fest

I have been here and it was quite nice, it was quite, no loud noise, no people hanging out within it was clean. My mother and i rented a room there because we had a church event close by in Sept 2018. yes i would recommend this place and it was reasonable

My sister in law and I were traveling for a concert and we had a room booked at moonlight motel. Well we got there before 5:30 which was our check in time due to the fact that we were coming from Reno. And the guy sold our room to someone else. We looked for hours for a motel and came acrossed The Sand Piper Motel it was 6am and the owner had one room but not for people to stay in but she was sweet enough to let us stay there for a couple hours till we could check in cause there check in isn't till 3. She left the room in the morning and went to return the key and she told is to wait 15 minutes and bam we had a room at 11am ready for us. They made sure we were comfortable and had plenty of towels. Great little rooms for being in downtown LA but very quite and pretty well hidden from the street so no one bugs you. 5 star for service rooms and everything else.

For the price, this was a great place to stay if you are just looking for a place to sleep and a roof over your head. Just do not have high expectations. The neighborhood is poor but by no means felt unsafe. There is also an amazing Mexican bakery right next door!

Very nice clean hotel rooms very comfortable beds very quiet manager was very nice pleasant my stay was nice I will be going back again don't be afraid of the neighborhood everything was quiet and safe and the rate was awesome

Room is quite comfortable and clean.the staff were friendly and All the utilities are good..no problem with parking.. I paid $65 per night which is very affordable.

The guy at the desk very nice, he even filled out the form for us. Just one tip...dont forget to tell customer the the check out time plus the free wi-fi. Also closed to interest places

If your in the la area and want a decent hotel room I'd suggest going here and there's a little deposit and a more bigger deposit if u have a oversized vehicle like me I had a oversized Mercedes sprinter van but it's a good hotel

Helped me while I was stuck in la without a place to stay. Best rate around and the bathroom is honestly pretty nice. Flat screen cable wifi

It was very clean . Pleasant staff. It was quiet. I enjoyed my two day stay.

Shuttle stop right across the street. Very clean and lovely room. Check-in and out was very fast.

I would like to congratulate Sand Piper Motel. I shall not mention its superb location and breath taking ocean/sunset view which is obvious

It is affortable for 65$,staff were helpfull,best thing was wifi ,parking,and room service.

It was very nice, real quiet and out of the way.
