I love the Mexican restaurant where the hit 1997 Nickelodeon movie Good Burger was filmed at with Kenan and Kel. Good Burger came out on July 25, 1997 and I got the best cheeseburger combo to honor the movie.

My parents and I loved coming to Peter's El Loco last year on April 16, 2023 for the first time in person.

I can definitely remember Peter's El Loco forever, combined with Mexican and All-American meal since it first opened in 1971 for 53 years.

We went here because it’s the good burger filming location! The food was delicious and the staff was super nice !

I've never had any issue with customer service here in the years I've been coming here.
But their fries....... I'm a SUCKER for their fries and green salsa!!!
Ugh... I can eat that ALL DAY!!
And their chips.. Don't get me started...
My only gripe is their chili cheese fries. The chili fries tasted like red enchilada sauce with ground beef.
Not bad.. But not exactly "chili" for fries.
They should've been called Enchilada fries. But eh. Not bad.

This place is recommended to me. So I just had to stop and try it out. The gentleman at the register was super nice it took me a while to order. Since I wanted an old school cheeseburger like the ones we would get after school back in 1997… lol… I just couldn’t help it. I ordered the loco fries. Talk about flash back to 1997 summer getting ready for high school. You should at least try them once. They have a few meats you can pick from. I shared the fries with my girls and I was so stuffed I didn’t even get to the double cheeseburger. Food didn’t take more than 10 mins. There was a couple out side eating and two people ordered after me. Lots of parking in Good light in the ordering and pick up area.

If I am in the area again I will definitely stop by. Their menu looked really good, I had their breakfast burrito which was delicious. I didn't realize they had breakfast hours until after I placed the order and was waiting for my food. I appreciated the fact that they still made my order even if it was after breakfast hours.

Was in a rush and I ordered two street tacos asada to go. Best tacos I’ve had in a while. Meat was good quality and both their red and green sauce was spice and good. I used both sauce at the same time good. My mouth was burning and I loved every second of it. Chips fresh and finished my red and green chili with them. Will come back and try their fancier tacos, as well as everything on their menu, one day at a time. Service was fast and friendly with a smile.

The food was delicious !!. But the most amazing thing about this place was this is we’re good burger was filmed! I didn’t even notice until I left the restaurant !! good burger is one of the best Nickelodeon movies !

The "two hard-shell taco combo" is great!...even includes steak fries... and a beverage.
The tacos are always crispy and generously "stuffed" with tasty beef and loads of cheese, lettuce, and tomato. Salsa on the side. Enjoy!

I stopped by this place because it had that "Ol' Skool" Neighborhood feel. The place has an outdoor patio for dining, and its spotless. The staff was nice & very accommodating. But most importantly the food! The hard shell, shredded beef tacos are fantastic! Hand made, not prepackaged taco shells. Stuffed with just the right amount of lettuce, tomatoes & cheese to balance it out. The steak picado burrito was hot & fresh. More beans, than steak, but still good. I'll be back to try more of menu.

Had a fantastic breakfast burrito and the staff were super friendly. Just a great experience overall with my visit.

Great Place!! Happy to have found El Loco after 30 + years after having moved from First Avenue.. all is right with my Taco World 🌮🌎

I come here quite often for dinner take-out. The service is great- the employees are always courteous and helpful and the food is made very quickly. And above all, the food is excellent here at Peter’s El Loco! We have never had issues with the food or service and the building and grounds are kept very clean.

Excellent burritos! Will definitely return which I have done a few times already. Never been disappointed with my orders. Love the street tacos…

Aside from being a pop culture location, its genuinely a fantastic place to grab food from.

I've placed take out order via phone call, and have had excellent experience. Food is ready on time, and fresh at pick up.

The Al Pastor is savory flavorful in both burritos and tacos. The chorizo burrito was just to my liking. Not too oily, but with enough flavor. The El Loco burrito is amazing. The chile inside really makes it unique and tasty.

Peter's El Loco is a lovely and quaint restaurant that is a cornerstone of the West Covina community. They have a litany of amazing menu items! My favorite is the Loco Burrito! It is a burrito with steak picado, a chile relleno and beans! It was to die for. Their Loco Fries are also a must have. They use thick cut steak fries, fresh organic guacamole and the freshest hand cut salsa to make your dining experience one you will not forget. The owner Peter, is the kindest of family men who truly cares about his customers as if they were his own family. Becoming a regular at Peter's El Loco is like joining a family and I highly suggest you get acquainted!

Good food especially the menudo on the weekends only. Good service people are always nice.

We came here cause my mother remembers this place from back in the days. Always good so I ordered a chicken burrito and it was full of flavor. Chicken breast is in chunks, not shredded. So good and the hot sauces, yummy! We also get a lot of chips!

Fast. Great salsas. Fantastic breakfast burritos. I don't eat meat but always get their meat burritos for friends who LOVE them. Low cost. Happy, happy.

Love there nachos not just that but they always seerved with a smile and have good customer service that is what I love about this place. Now time to enjoy some delicious nachos
