Mae Boyar Park

It's a nice and clean park. Though it is small,it has everything. I like how they put sand instead of grass. The kids can play sands like they're on a beach. Then on the other side is where you can walk the dogs. It's good how it is separated to the actual playground,you dont have to worry that your child might step on a dog's poop😁

Very nice clean park for everyone to enjoy. It's well kept and plenty of room to roam.

Clean, quiet park. I came through the trail and end up resting at the park before heading back to the trail. Very relaxing. Great addition to the neighborhood. Clean BBQ area for big family party.

Had a wonderful birthday party.
Was able to decorate the area.
Everything looked beautiful.

This park is so rad because it's deceptively big. There's the main park, but there's a trail on the side that goes along the waterway. It's super cool and there are a bunch of awesome trees and different plants etc.

There's a walkway over the street to the park across the way as well; my kid loves to watch the cars from the overpass.

This park is usually very clean. I have had no issues with broken glass or otherwise dangerous items on the ground for kids to accidentally mess with. I really appreciate the safeness of this park.

Great place to host events. Place is clean and fits about 50 people comfortably

It's big and clean,divided on two conected by a bridge over Del Amo Blvd. Parking is a little tight on the office side.

I enjoy it it small pathway do walking or jogging like beginners exercise.

Very beautiful park that actually has two sides with the San Gabriel riverbed in between both sides and a bridge that allows you to access both sides at your convenience. I can't stress how beautiful this park is very maintained and clean. I suppose I will leave it to you the decide which side has the greener grass.

Park was clean and staff was present and on duty. There was an award ceremony going down so that was cool. My son had soccer practice so that was also neat. Quality Wednesday indeed. 10 out 10 will be back again!

Map quest didn't no the gate was there.. kept saying turn right! After making that U turn.. almost impossible to do

Little hidden park in a housing neighborhood. I like that the playground is gated... however, some kids and even parents don't get the clue and leave the gates open so you have to be very cautious since there is an entrance/exit that goes straight into the del amo busy street. It is scary if you're relying on the gates being closed all the time. Other than that, it is a small sand park, with a small parking lot, but my kids love it.

I'll attend an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting at 6:45 a.m. at this park yesterday and it's the best AA meeting in the world cost on meaning for any other problems you have overheating or anything else when they're open-minded try at 6:45 to 7:45 every morning Monday through Friday right at the church

I go to this park for a monthly meeting. It is a small quiet neighborhood park with a playgrounds a small pool and a grassy area.

VERY CLEAN WELL KEPT, CALM, NOT CROWDED OR ANY BAD ELEMENT OF PEOPLE, FAMILY FRIENDLY, RELAXING AND JUST WHAT OUR TAX DOLLARS PAY FOR. A NICE PARK FOR ALL RESIDENTS TO ENJOY FOR INDIVIDUAL REASONS. EXERCISING, JUST GETTING OUT OF THE HOUSE, READING A GOOD BOOK OR PEOPLE WATCHING

Has a splash pool open during the summer, two full court basketball courts with a few single hoops, a playground with swings and three play structures. it has a walk bridge over to the south side of the park that has 2 softball fields.

Nice small park in a friendly looking neighborhood. It's a little far for me to be like hey let's go here, but if someone invites me to go and that is where the event is I would go without wondering if the park is going to be safe for my kids.

I agree...ive lived in the vicinity for over 25 yrs.. This park has always been there for me when I needed athletic entertainment...it has basketball courts and handball areas...it also offers a baseball field...I coached basketball once here...and my team and kids did really well that season..to be honest I coached here because my 8 yr old basketball crazy nephew was in this league...needless to say...im nostalgic every time I pass by...im a mere 2 mins away...and the George Nye library is a few feet from the baseball field...bring your kids, some chairs, get some kids books and read underneath a shaded tree while the teenagers practice their favorite sport...i love to work out so come to this park and bring your "A" game...lol

I remember calling it Mae Boyar park, spent many hours here as a youth playing carems they also have a wade pool for summer time, and I would hope they still have activities for young people like basketball, baseball, soccer etc...
