I travel over 30 miles from Newport Beach to get my hair process here. Mr. Yamata and entire staff are so professional and helpful.

First off, this is a Japanese hair salon. Other nationalities get their hair did there. But the staff is Japanese. It is a super calm, clean and peaceful place. I'm a white attorney in my 40s so quiet is not really my forté. I walk in and don't say a word and I feel like I'm the loudest one there.

My girlfriend, Etsuko, is the general manager and head stylist. She's not really my girlfriend. I couldn't be so lucky. She has techniques that I've never seen anyone employ. She loves her job, her salon and her clients. I will give up almost all I have before I give up my special time with Etsuko.

I've been going here for year and have never had a bod cut or color. Fabulous staff and the prices are extremely competitive, especially considering the quality of service and the lovely atmosphere. I've sent friends here as well and they all loved it. Can't recommend highly enough.

Etsuko has been cutting/styling my hair for over 20 years. She is fantastic, I don't like to go anywhere else. So i don't!

I have been coming to Pia hair salon for 15 years now. I get my hair straightened and cut every year by Etsuko and have recommended many of my friends to their salon. I highly recommend coming here and will likely go there forever haha

I have been searching for a hairdresser in Tokyo for such a long time, no one can cut and control my volume of hair but he did, thank you pia hair salon has solve my problem which having and suffered for three years, now i know where to go to cut my hair in future.
