A-1 Chinese BBQ

You guys almost didn't get a picture because I was inhaling my food. This restaurant was so scrumptious 😋. We had shrimp fried rice, sautéed scallop, Kung pao chicken 🐔, and Walnut shrimp. When I tell you my food was cooked to perfection.... it really was. My Walnut shrimp I'm going to say is the best hands down in my entire Walnut shrimp career. That crisp crunch and tender shrimp was so delectable. 🔥I'm just shocked this place doesn't have more views. It's in the local area and the waitresses are so kind and like to recommend dishes you might like better and the recommendations are spot on. I love this place! All of my dishes were prepared well and tasted delicious.

The food is taste great and original at Taiwanese and Cantonese restaurant. Lots of take outs from local Chinese. A place I would often come when home sick.

This place rocks! D-lishousness all up & down the menu. I have been to many Chinese restaurants throughout Southern California and this hole in the wall is one of a kind. I have been here with my fiancee & our little one of 7 years. So far we have sampled their Crispy noodle Chow mein *all styles*, Fried rice *all styles*, Wonton noodle soups *roasted duck/BBQ-pork*, Chinese broccoli with garlic, Bok-choi with garlic, Mao po tofu, Fried Chicken *appetizers* Egg Rolls, Salt & Spicy Jumbo Shrimp *tapioca battered* (a must try),
Roasted Duck, BBQ-pork, General Tsao's Chicken.
It gets busy and packed all the time so arrive early with a big appetite. They have excellent service and will accommodate your every salivatory needs.
We will be back for the rest of the menu, til then I am most sure whatever you decide to sample, you won't be disappointed.

One of our favorite Chinese restaurants! Always accommodating and great selection of Cantonese Chinese food on the menu. Mostly carryout but you can eat in restaurant in a small eating area. Truly authentic and reasonable prices.

Oh my gosh!! The best Chinese food ever!!! The war wonton soup is amazing, as is the Peking duck (and everything else!) Great prices, family owned, super delicious. I go there as often as possible!!!!

Great service and food! Tea was ready to serve upon arrival. Family style dishes, come hungry. I ordered two dishes. House special crunchy noodles and popcorn chicken (chicken and basil) came along with shark soup and pickled cabbage.

This is a very small restaurant that has amazingly good food at very reasonable prices. Serving are large, as one order could feed 2 people. Service is very friendly and helpful in explaining the dishes on the menu. Endless supply of oolong tea is brought to your table.

One of the best, if not the best, Chinese restaurant in our vicinity! This is a "hole in the wall," but delivers great and tasty entrees. Place is literally a small building, so a larger place affords better ambience, and shorter lines.

Lovely staff and the food was great. Got some kung pao beef, fried rice and general tsos chicken. Definitely lives up to the namesake of being A1. Whenever I order Chinese food in the area, it will always be here from now on

I was hesitant when I first visited this restaurant because it's not a big place but their food selection is awesome and really fast service. Their special seafood hot pot is to die for, the shrimp, chicken and beef dishes are all scrumptious! You will never be sorry because you will get the high quality food and always the freshest ingredients. I give this A1 restaurant ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ + 😋

It is really good food and clean environment.

This place is so delicious, we ordered kungpao 3 and then we ordered Orange chicken which came with white rice and it was delicious. The place is pretty packed during lunch time... they offer lunch specials between 11 to $12 the portion size are huge.this is a place you definitely want to go to.

Been meaning to try this place for years. Finally went in and ordered to go. Very yummy authentic Chinese food. Wish I went sooner! They were really helpful since it was my first time there. Definitely going back soon!!

I absolutely love this food. The food is wonderful, good portions,tasty and reasonably priced. The salt and pepper pork chops here are the best, and so are the wonton soups.
The dining area is a bit small,and tends to be crowded at times, so I order my food to go.
It is clean inside,and staff is friendly, helpful.

Don't let the name fool you. You can get traditional Chinese cuisine here, not just BBQ.

A-1 has been around for 20+ years and still going strong. It's a small place but the food has always been excellent.

If you want a taste of some of the most authentic Chinese food, all served in the South Bay, then A-1 Chinese BBQ is a place you should check out.

Boy, if you like Chinese food, you need to come and try my #1 Chinese food place . Eat in or call ahead and take out. Large portions with all entres. Don't be caught not coming here. You wont be disappointed!

This is THE place to get duck. They offer whole duck either standard or Peking style (deboned, steamed buns, etc).

Great dishes, always made to order, nice-light seasoning, different flavors, huge assortment. We order regularly white fish w veggies, beef chow fun dry, tofu pockets w veggies, wor wonton soup, chicken fried rice, house pan fried noodles w char siu veggies seafood, garlic green beans w pork made upon request. So delicious!
