The Triangle Park

Not only is it lovely, it is very tranquil, green, and serene…until you hear the traffic racing by a few hundred feet up the west hill, and the buses and other vehicles which zip through the east and south streets that map off the two additional sides of the “triangle.” There’s a sea of lucious grass to wade through, sit on, and lie upon. A few picnic tables and pieces of exercise equipment pepper the park as well. I have found it to be a refreshing place to “get away” from things even though office buildings encroach upon this visually aromatic, artistically misshapen pizza slice.

I almost don't want to review this place because it's such a hidden gem that it should stay that way. Only drawback is lack of parking but it's a great, clean, small park mainly for locals in the area as there is no restroom. It has exercise machines and a volleyball court.

The park was great! I was able to take a much needed nap.

This park is not far from the Pepperdine University campus on the Howard Hughes parkway exit of 405. If you are sensitive to sound bring headphones? It can get loud from the traffic all around; highway 405 and main roads.

The park was not busy at all on this Monday morning in March 2021. That might well be because the university campus Adjacent to the park did not seem open amidst the COVID-19 pandemic?

Amenities are not that many but I counted six picnic table bench settings. The grass will smash and the trees were few. Shade is a rarity?

Great park that’s close to the residential complexes on center drive. Perfect for dogs. This park is not gated. It has a dirt trail that runs around the outside of the grassy fields, a sand volleyball court (nets are down since covid) and various workout stations. Lots of poop bag stations so no reason not to pick up and dispose! Starbucks and other restaurants are right down the block.

No dogs allowed signs should be posted.
It would make it a nicer little park. I own two dogs myself. But humans comfort comes first.
