Nice cozy spot with 2 beautiful outdoor seating in front with a moutain view. The menudo snd Rancheros were delicious. Even the chicken veggie soup they gave alot of chicken which was great. Atmosphere and customer service was awesome truly recommend.💯

The food was very good, hot and fresh. I loved the their special cinnamon coffee. It came in a super cute cup. The fajitas were good and the salsa was awesome.

La Adelita is an awesome place for both dining in or take out. Their staff is helpful and fast. The food is delicious, even the tortilla chips. Will come back every opportunity I get.

We’ve been to this little place in downtown Monrovia several times and have never been disappointed. The taqueria were full of the most excellent meat and the omelette was terrific.

Easily some of the best chile verde in the San Gabriel Valley. Most of the dishes are good but anything work pork -especially the carnitas plate is legit. Good selection of beer, wish the margarita wasn’t wine based.

The carnitas and chile verde are amazingly good! The chips are good, the salsa is okay (needs some salt), guac is good (also needs a little salt). They also have a spicy salsa that's really good. Friendly staff too. Lots of parking nearby, on the street and in lots.

If I have more stars, I would give them to this place/crew.

I ordered the huevos rancheros but asked for the eggs to be scrambled instead of over easy. It was tasty, generous portions and good service. Love their free chips and salsa.

Today we decided to try out the enchiladas verdes with scrambled eggs and house potatoes. Oof! The salsa verde was perfect, not spicy but very savor and flavorful. They gave us chips and salsa and the salsa was delicious. To top off a perfect brunch, I had a raspberry tea. Next time I want to try their margaritas!

Good mom & pop place… I’m Mexican so I’m a lil picky when it comes to Mexican food. The dishes are pretty authentic. Salsa de habanero has a nice spice. Got the chilaquiles verdes with rice and beans. Sister got machaca with potatoes. Not too crowded and good prices.

Great and very Friendly customer service. Good size portions. Great Chips, but and most importantly to me the salsa is amazing, the pico de gallo is good but their regular salsa is very flavorful and distinct, it has a good kick which is important to me but the flavor profile is not like your regular salsa, I am still trying to figure out what chiles they used. As someone who has ate mexican food his entire life, being of Mexican heritage, I usually find it hard to find food that's to my liking, so far I've only had the Carne Asada Torta which was really good, but I'll definitely be coming back for their chiles rellenos and menudo, will update after Menudo.

La Adelita is one of the only Mexican Restaurants that we visit frequently in Monrovia. We hadn’t tried it and noticed their taco cart out on a Friday, we grabbed a carne asada and a chicken street taco for 99 cents and enjoyed them along with the salsas. After that we’ve tried quite a few things but our favorite is the super burrito with chicken. We ask for half red and half green sauce and it’s great! For $12 you get an amazing burrito that is truly 3 pounds heavy! The waitress is always sweet and helpful. So glad to have found this place!

Got a shredded beef burrito here with the red sauce and it was spectacular. Very generous margaritas too.

A hole in the wall place, but,. great authentic Mexican food with fair prices!

Good Mexican flavors with a twist for those who like less spicy. But if you ask for spicy, their salsa is good. 🔥

My wife and I were looking at having dinner at Rudy's Mexican restaurant.. it was a Monday so when we got there the place was closed.... disappointed we looked for a nearby Mexican restaurant and adelitas seem to be the place for us cause of the reviews... small spot .. clean .. family owned .. my wife and I agree after ordering a chile verde burrito and the arroz con pollo and shrimp .. the food was better than Rudy's .. we will be back 😋

This place has delicious food. The service is also great. I will definitely keep coming back. The camarones a la diabla are really good and spicy.
