I walked past Susie Cakes regularly for a year before I stopped in because I'm not a cake or cupcake kinda girl, but I saw they had cookies, and I'm definitely a cookie lady! Let me tell you... I'm so happy I did. Their peanut butter cookie just melts in your mouth, soft chewy and moist, the best one I've had! The chocolate chip cookie was perfect, thin, crispy edges, slightly salted, melt in your mouth center with the right amount of chocolate to cookie ratio. One day while waiting in line, I decided to sample the mocha cupcake and this was the best cupcake I've had! I wasn't a cupcake person because they always seemed so sweet and lacking flavor no matter where I got them, but these... these were amazing, so amazing that I'm now a cookie, Susie Cakes, cupcake girlie! These were just the right amount of sweet, yet full of flavor. So soft and moist and not too much frosting! The staff and service is always great! They seem to enjoy their jobs, always friendly, smiling and ready to help! My favorite bakery so far and I've been too a lot!

a must go to when you’re craving something small and sweet,and or perfect for any occasion you may have whether you’re celebrating a birthday, anniversary, graduation, holiday, etc. Has been a personal favorite place to go for a couple years now. My family loves Susie’s cakes, the staff here is super friendly, they can answer any question you may have, etc. Oh and they also have an app you can download to earn points and pre-order on the app for when you need something for an occasion.

I can’t recommend this place enough! The shop is so cute and the cakes and cupcakes are delicious! The staff was so friendly, I had a great experience there!

Make sure you pick up the Carrot 🥕 Cake and Red Velvet cake and tell them PICASSO MILANO FOREVER sent you.

I had the honor to work at Brentwood location and the staff and management at Labrea, DTLA, and Brentwood really is appreciated expecially when you need a pick me up

The employees here are some of the nicest employees ever Excellent customer service and the cake is to die for cupcakes are amazing. My mom is celiac and she tried the gluten-free cupcakes. She said there’s some of the best she’s ever had amazing for it being gluten-free, which is hard to find. Most gluten-free stuff is dry and horrible. This place deserves 10 stars. The only part of the review I’d give bad review for is that they have no locations in Colorado, my mom is bummed lol

The cupcakes and cookies were SO delicious, but what really made our visit special was Tanner! He was so incredibly kind and helpful. He is a 5 star employee ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best of the best cupcakes! Quick service, friendly staff, and SusieCakes! I must say it is the only cupcake that I go out of my way to buy..... in La Brea traffic... now that's a loyal customer. LOL. 🤣

This store closes at 7pm and we walked up at 7:06pm when an employee was outside collecting the sidewalk sign. He invited us in without hesitation, even though we were standing in front of the sign clearly showing their hours. He was patient and kind as we picked out cupcakes for my partners’ birthday the following day. As he was boxing them up, he gave us an extra couple of cupcakes! Great staff, service like this isn’t common in LA. Thanks for being kind!

Even though the cake was very slightly dry, this lemon cupcake was so good! I loved the bite of the buttercream and there was a bit of delicious crisp on top of the cake. The shop was adorable and filled with wonderful sweets. And best of all, the cupcake was on the house. Thank you!

Got a carrot cake for my moms birthday. She loved it. The cake had just the right amount of raisins and walnuts and was nice and moist! Can’t wait to try more!

We chose SusieCakes for our wedding cake and it was the perfect choice. We first tried another popular LA bakery and sadly we were not impressed by both their product or their customer service. SusieCakes on the other hand was a pleasure to work with from the very beginning they made it easy to do a sample and then provided us handy guides for ordering. When it came time to order for our big day it was seamless and they delivered it to our venue right on time. The presentation of the cake was exactly as described and the cake was so delicious. Honestly it was a highlight of our wedding, we were looking forward to the cake for months and told guests how good the cake would be LOL. They were all impressed as well. I wouldn't hesitate at all to order another cake for an event big or small (or maybe even just for me LOL). Thank you!!

Today is sunday june 25th 12:50pm. Just wanna say first time eating your cupcakes and they are delicious. But the highlight if the day was the employees. They are super super friendly and they offered the best service not only to me but to everyone that was there. KATELYN and IRVINE!!!!!! these 2 people were amazing. Wow! My first time here after having a slice at a party, and the vibe matches the flavor - amazing! Honestly, Miro is so amazing and deserves a raise (& bonus). Miro walked me through everything, helped me decide across all of the amazing options and was simply so kind. Thank you Miro!!

Had the pleasure of visiting here while on vacation. Workers were very friendly and after learning it was our first time coming in they were kind enough to include some free goodies and explain each product to us. Would love to visit again!

I have always been a fan of SusieCakes and gotten their cakes, pies, and cupcakes for many celebrations. But they turned me into a loyal rabid fangirl in 2021. Peak pandemic I went on my birthday to get a cupcake and I mentioned that it was my birthday and just like probably everyone at that time I had the pandemic blues and was missing my family and they gave me my cupcake for free. It was a small gesture, but given my emotional state the bit of human kindness made me cry. It just really made a big difference to me at the time, and SusieCakes will always be my first choice bakery for all celebrations - it doesn't hurt that everything they make is delicious.

My family has been going here since they first opened, we absolutely love their cakes and every time we have a birthday we purchase the birthday cake and I personally love the marble and the lemon. They are so nice and always professional, we love having this place near our house. They are not to be missed, a fantastic addition to the neighborhood!

Wow, just wow. I love this place so much, everything here is incredible! Right when you walk in you’re greeted with the smell of butter and the most friendly, helpful people. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the technique in every item. I highly recommend the chocolate chip cookies and the flourless chocolate cupcake but I’ve had pretty much everything and you won’t go wrong no matter what you get!
