Joseph's was timely and very responsive. I brought in the cushions and fabric I wanted, though they had a great selection of fabric on-site if it were an emergency. It was done within a matter of days. The work is clean, and the details we asked for were perfectly matched (detail being the lip on the edge of the fabric) . I had my sofa reupholstered at Joseph’s and I’m totally happy with the results! Juan (the owner) walked me through the entire process & he’s VERY knowledgeable about his craft. We discussed my needs and he sent me a link to look at fabrics. I made an appt to look at the fabric swatches, checked out some of his work at the shop on Pico and he helped me finalize my choice. Good communication throughout the process. Everything was included in the price quoted, which was great (including pick up and delivery). Everyone in the office is pleasant and helpful. Jose, Juan and his team were absolutely wonderful with me. This was the first time that I had brought in one of my pieces to get redone and I was extremely happy with the end result. My piece is a unique vintage Heywood Wakefield vanity stool that they brought back to life I couldn’t be happier I highly recommend see the before and after❤👍

Truly an excellent experience from beginning to end! The owner Juan was a pleasure to work with — always communicating clearly, showing me examples of what my ottoman pouf would feel like once he had worked his magic, and even completing the project days ahead of what he originally promised me. He even gave me a tour of his shop and showed me other pieces they work on — from reupholstering beloved comfy old couches to restoring beautiful vintage chairs.

His pricing was competitive and affordable but more importantly the quality of his and his team’s workmanship is unparalleled. My little ottoman pouf is even nicer than when I first purchased it brand new!

Juan and his team are so impressive, knowledgeable, and organized. I came in just to re-stuff a favorite old ottoman pouf and ended up leaving with my interior design imagination on fire. I can’t wait to return with more pieces and now I feel like the sky’s the limit. Going forward when I see interesting chairs, patio furniture, etc. at Goodwill or garage sales or even Homegoods, I won’t pass them up any longer because now I know who to bring them to to make them 100 times better!

Joseph is a master. He allowed me to preserve my family’s 60 year old couch, that was filthy, stained and smelly. I was going to trash it, but my family life was spent on this couch, spanning three generations. I couldn’t let it go, It was too sentimental. His team worked their magic, and I get to enjoy a piece of my family history for the rest of my life. It will continue to be the center of my home, offering comfort, beauty, style and memories. Oh wow, just wow! From the moment I went to Joseph’s Upholsery, Juan and his team were so attentive. Helping me pick out great fabric for my two chairs and cushions/pillows for our couch! We sifted through samples on samples, and finally landed on what is this now beauty! I am highly impressed with Juan’s professionalism, and incredible work! Exactly what we wanted! This was my first time getting something upholstered...it was stressful taking a chance on someone you don't know, but, in my case everything paid off. We are thrilled with the craftsmanship, and details to EXACT measurements becuz our window bench measurements are not even, each side measures differently. The customer service was professional and friendly... Joseph brought materials to my home, and delivered the cushion to my home to ensure everything fit perfectly.

I recommend Joseph and this company...the picture does not do justice to the beautiful, finished result.

So grateful to Juan and the team. I came to the shop on Friday, December 29th to have them cut an expensive unopened twin memory foam mattress and upholster it to turn it into a cushion.

He then told me I could return it and they could do the entire project for just about the same cost. He guided me thru selecting the kind of memory foam I wanted and helped me select from multiple swathes of fabric and nylon.

In the process he showed me a couple really nice fabrics and I decided to get some pillows made as belated Christmas gifts.

I called an embroidery shop that could help, and then like a pro he just cut me some fabric measured it by eyeing it, and told me to bring it back the next morning and he'll get it rushed in time for my flight that night.

I was late to pick it up so he literally took it home with him and allowed me to pick it up from him after closing. He even said they made it so it could compress well within a suitcase.

Whole project went from idea to execution in like 18 hours, in time for my flight on the night of the 30th. When most businesses had already closed for the year.

My family loved the pillows.

Came back early in the new year to grab the cushion too, and it was perfect. Had a zipper and everything for washing if needed.

Wildly impressed by their speed of delivery and quality of work and so appreciative of their positivity and helpfulness throughout the process. Will refer people to him and come back myself if I can.

Joseph's Upholstery is AWESOME! I had a chair in my living room reupholstered with a new fabric change and my chair look like it came from a furniture store. The fabric and the padding is fantastic. I took the chance and googled upholsterers. After researching a few, reading reviews and pricing out my job (not taking the least expensive but also not the most expensive) I went with Joseph's, Juan was polite, efficient, reasonably priced and promised my job on time. He actually had it ready a day early. The job was impeccable! I'm a bit OCD so if I say the job was well done you can have faith. If you need restoration, upholstery or re-cushioning of furniture I highly recommend "Joseph's".

I searched for months to find the right sofa, it had been at least 10 years since I purchased our last. I finally found something I liked, just to find out it was going to take 27 weeks for delivery? I decided to keep our old sofa, the frame was fine, just have new slip covers made. I am so very happy I did! I was afraid I wouldn’t be happy. Joseph’s Upholstery did a excellent job, perfect really. The craftsman ship is excellent, they used high end foam, down envelope on the seat cushions, really nice. His crew is very professional and friendly, on time and proud of their work.

We had the most amazing experience at Joseph's Upholstery! They collected the furniture and did the whole job so quickly and affordably. They refilled the stuffing and these are now so comfortable! Juan was amazing! His customer service was excellent. I strongly recommend Joseph's!!!

We wanted to update our furnishings by lightening up the upholstery. We found Joseph’s on the web. We sent pics of what we had and what we were looking for. Joseph brought samples to our home, we selected fabric, and two weeks later we had a great new look We have since added additional items. Both fabric and leather chairs, even a headboard! My bed was just delivered. The upholstery is impeccable! Thank you, Juan. This is a complicated tufted bed with expensive cotton velvet. This bed needed someone who knows what they are doing, and Juan is that man. His team is incredible, not only professional and helpful, But excellent craftsman as well. They went the extra mile. I had my dads sofa which was 20 plus years old I wanted to save it…Juan did an excellent job Re-upholstering it, and it looks brand new. He used 2 different fabrics that I supplied to him to make it two-toned, which is very pretty.

Great customer service, large selection, didn’t try to over sell me. Did take 2 weeks but happy with the results! Cost me about $750 dollars was a little more but I wanted a scratch resistant vinyl
