My favorite place for good food and happy services

My family and I come here a minimum of 3-4 times a week sometimes 2 or 3 times in A-day. They have a great produce section, lovely seafood counter, a fantastic great meat selection, a good bakery, and a very nice deli. The store is always clean they've got a great and they've got a great employee staff very friendly very helpful there was always merchandise on the shelves. And for me personally out of the 4 main grocery stores in our area, It is the only one I prefer to go to.

They are extremely accommodating!! Especially the bakery. Everytime I order a a cake they always deliver. Even short notice they'll decorate the way you want. Only took 30 min!!! Thank you!

I've always liked Safeway. Good prices and a better quality of food in my opinion. Lots of stores have changed over the years and you can feel it. Safeway seems to be more like McDonald's. You know where to find what your looking from the design of each store. It's kind of like the opposite of Home Depot stores.

Vicente in the deli deserves a raise and recognition for taking care of the customers who come after hours. He is always happy to help even when I have to bother him to get me salad from the deli after it’s closed and he’s happy to do it which is rare these days in customer service. The employees are super personable and friendly. The store is impeccably clean and neat.

I love Safeway. I always buy on sale with coupons; the best deals around. Employees are the best too. They aim to please. You can buy lottery tickets there too. If you can't make it to San Francisco, Safeway has the best sourdough french bread in Mendocino and Sonoma counties. I love their sourdough french bread. Excellent prices on frozen foods on sale.

Safeway does a really good job at bridging the gap between groceries and restaurant meals. Customers can go into the amazing deli and get fresh, healthy meals without the hassle of cooking it on their own.

Horrible ice cream prices but aide from that service was great and I was able to get what I needed and saw some friends and loved ones over all experience was good.

Employees are always friendly. Lots of variety of products. Store is kept clean. Generally the lines aren't too long because they keep enough cashiers at check stands, plus they have a good self checkout.

Good selection. Great people. Decent prices. I don't know what more to expect from a grocery store. Maybe dancing girls?

Right in the center of UkiAh. Easy to find. Nice floral department, good bakery, and they have Starbucks. The staff is always helpful! The managers are always so nice when getting formula for me. The meat department always has a wide selection and helps with different cuts etc.

People were chatting and socializing it just made me happy. But they were 6 feet apart. It was clean and lit well everything in order. Friendly cashier made me feel special with the sweet things she said.

Grocery prices have gone up so much it is worrisome, but Safeway prices remain competitive. They carry the brands I like and the Ukiah Safeway employees are always friendly and helpful. My own personal experience with both the specific location as well as the others has been outstanding, and we should be greatfull for the opportunity and service being provided to us and acknowledge the total value and place in our infrastructure that allows the rest of us to be able to move forward with whatever way of life we choose.
A direct result of the sacrifices made by them and their families. A lot like the rest of the first responders and emergency personal.

Great variety of fruits and veggies on sale! Milk is a little high priced (inmho). Otherwise, fantastic place to grocery shop! Centrally located.

Yesterday was Valentine’s Day and I helped deliver the gifts that were purchased for loved ones in the area, watching those beautiful flowers and the wonderful designs that floral department comes up with just floored me! There was so many varieties with so many colors I couldn’t believe how well That floral department did yesterday!

I will not hesitate to go to them to show somebody I care! I tip my hat to you!!

Picked up a taisty deli sandwich from the deli, the young lady that made it was so attentive, went above and beyond my expectations. Shaunte I think? Was her name. So sorry I didn't write it down immediately. She deserves a pay raise I'm sure. Hope to see her again.

What a fabulous experience! I normally shop at the Lakeport Safeway which generally has horrendous lines and a 45 minute to 1 hour wait line to get to the pharmacy window. This Safeway store in Ukiah must have the best selection of grocery products of any Safeway in existence. I was shocked at the difference between Ukiah Safeway and my remodeled Safeway in Lakeport. The store was spotless and all the shelves had items pulled right to the front of the Shelf. What a difference a little bit of good management makes.
