I would love to say that Santiago at speedy uno auto repair really knows what he is doing and is also very professional about everything from my very first initial phone call I could tell he was one of the good ones . He did some work for the first car I took to him . I liked his work and how knowledgeable he was that I recommended him to my brothers, a couple friends, and family and now all of those people go to him for ANYTHING they might need for their car 👍🏽🫡 very highly recommend.

Probably the most honest and straightforward mechanics I’ve meet. He helped me with my ignition coil fuel injectors and spark plugs. He took extra time to make sure everything was working properly even fixed some other issues I had no extra charge. He answered all my questions willingly and respectfully. I tried to leave him a tip but he wouldn’t take it. If I could I would give this guy 10’stars. I highly recommend if your in 209’area.

Traveling through Merced back to Northern California, we broke down. Speedy Uno quickly diagnosed our problems and resolved the issues with honesty and integrity. We couldn’t have been happier. Santiago and Michael were great! We would highly recommend them. 5++++ stars!

I was recommended this place by two AAA drivers. Santiago is very thorough and a pleasure to do business with! He plainly explains in detail what issues you have going on with your car and if anything needs to be corrected, this place handles it in a timely manner. I totally recommend this place and I will continue coming here for all my mechanical maintenance and repairs!

Santiago really cares about his clients. We had just gotten a transmission repaired from somewhere else and we had a leak but weren’t sure where from - if it was from the transmission or somewhere else. He checked out where the leak was coming from for free. And he gave us a discount on an oil change because he knew how much we had already spent on a transmission. He really cares a lot.

Santiago was extremely helpful, fast but thorough, and offered a very honest price when my car broke down and needed a tow from the Valley. There’s a YARTS bus stop an 18 minute walk from his shop, so it’s also actually possible to get to without a vehicle if needed, which I couldn’t find for any other shops in the vicinity of the park. If anything happens to your car while in Yosemite, go to this shop!

I took my car to have the brakes and rotors replaced. I was told by another shop all 4 needed replacement. After the brake inspection Santiago informed me it was only the back brakes and rotors that needed to be changed. The service was excellent and fast. Santiago is very knowledgeable and informative. He is honest and provided explanation on other mechanical questions I had. I feel comfortable going back to this shop knowing I will not be taken advantage of. I will be returning very soon and have found a trustworthy and great mechanic!

We were driving through town on our way to Yosemite when we had some error dash lights concerning the brakes and ABS. After calling every service facility in the area the only one - Speedy Uno, said he could fit us in. Upon arrival a bit later the owner, Santiago stopped what he was doing and came out to take a look at our rig. He ran diagnostics and gave us an in depth explanation as to the remote chance of a potential issue and gave the vehicle a once over. After all that he refused to take payment for his services. Santiago was knowledgeable, kind and thorough and helped put us at ease. We were back on the road and couldn't be happier to have found Speedy Uno. We have traveled the country extensively and invariably run into issues and have met some of the nicest and most helpful auto repair facilities along the way - and this is one that gets added to the list. If I were a local (I'm from Maine) I wouldn't hesitate to take my vehicle here. 5 STARS all the way!!

I cannot recommend this shop enough! You can't put a price on trust, excellent skills, knowledge, and simply a good heart! I had no idea where to go for my auto needs. I read other reviews and decided to give him a try. I'm so thankful I did! He will be our family mechanic as long as he's in business. He got me in right away. Took me on the ride to listen to the noise I was hearing and knew within seconds what it was. He fully explains to you what the problem is and even shows you how it works and what needs to be done. He has a HUGE heart and kind disposition. An old fashioned hard worker that wants to do his job with excellence and pride. Thank you for helping my family out in a tight spot and being so quick and efficient with your work! I appreciate your knowledge and work ethic! You have customers for life with my family!

To start his customer service was incredible, you could see that he really takes pride in his work! Once I called in and explained the issue happening with my car he was able to get me in first thing the next morning! He really took the time to be thorough when explaining everything. He was able to find the cause of the problem and have it fixed and back on the road all within 2.5 hours!! I highly recommend this place don't let the area discourage you from taking your vehicle here. You will be treated with the upmost respect and quality service that you don't find quite often around here! I mean the ratings and reviews speak for themselves! One of the best mechanic shops around, with service prices you can't beat! My husband and I will be returning in the future for any services needed to be done!

Man where do i start.. i believe i should start off like this. Razzari Dodge had my jeep for 6 months. An couldnt figure out my Jeeps issue. They put a new wiring harness, fuse panel. And batteries. For none of it to start my jeep. An to just tell me my engine was bad, Paid them, took my jeep to Santi, within the first 2 days he said nothing was wrong but the engine an starter being bad. Got him the new motor. An within a week. Or 2 my jeep was running great. After a week she made her way to our new home in the State Of Washington. Since then hes pointed out a few minor details i could fix on my own to save some cash. Great guy to work with.

Santiago is a knowledgeable mechanic. Doesn't overcharge and is honest and will reduce the cost of services he didn't perform. He has experience in serving electric and hybrids as well as diesel trucks. He explained the problems really well and ensured that everything was resolved. Would definitely trust him with my cars and highly recommend him

I brought my car to Santiago after another mechanic wasn’t able to figure out what was going on with it. Within a couple of days Santiago was able to narrow down what the issue was and he explained everything well and thoroughly to me. He’s amazing at what he does, and I’m so happy the expensive of the repair ended up being inexpensive compared to what I was expecting. He also flushed and replaced my transmission fluid and made sure everything else with my car was running smoothly! My car runs great now. Thank you Santiago for your amazing and quick service! I will definitely be bringing my car back for any future repairs!

Very honest and respectable company. We had an issue with our Ram 1500 air suspension over a holiday weekend in Yosemite. They were able to squeeze me in right away. Turned out a hose was disconnected and some nitrogen likely leaked. They reconnected the hose and didn't charge me for the diagnosis since they didn't have any nitrogen in stock to pressure test the system. The system automatically leveled the vehicle and I was able to continue on our trip. They could've billed me for their minimum $110 labor charge, but didn't.

I took my Ford Focus St here to get my turbo replaced as the old one had died and stopped building boost. the staff was super friendly and very helpful. Santiago explained exactly what needed to be done for the repair very clearly. He even went the to extra mile in his research to give me multiple options to repair my car. from his explanation I could tell he had the knowledge and experience and felt comfortable getting my car repaired at the shop. After the repair was complete we went to test drive it. during the test drive he felt something was off, so we took it back to the shop. He put it right back on the jack made a minor adjustment that took less than 5 minutes and we were back on the road. The car felt great and had more power and better response than when I first bought it. After the test drive he informed me of minor fixes that the car needed to better maintain the car. The pricing was very reasonable especially because of the attention to detail and them diagnosing the entire car and not just the issue I had brought to their attention. Due to the friendly service, the amazing work and attention to detail I will definitely make this shop my regular mechanic shop. I highly recommend SPEEDY UNO to anyone who is look for an amazing repair shop.

This is an unusual review for me as I normally get some type of service with a business before reviewing them. However, this business in particular requires some serious rave reviewing!

My car's low tire pressure signal came on and I wanted to know the source of it. In my typical experience, I would have to take my car in to the shop to get it "checked out" before I get an expensive verdict. However, when I called Speedy Uno, Santiago (owner) texted me using his business line shortly after. He literally walked me through each individual step to inspect and monitor my tire. He guided me and reassured me that my safety was his priority. He even gave me suggestions of local tire shops that wouldn't overcharge me for the simple service of patching my tire.

That being said, while I did not receive direct charge-for-service, I am confident that I would get excellent service at an affordable rate. Therefore, my intuition wants me to tell you that I highly recommend this business :)

I brought my car in with suspected broken motor/transmission mounts causing severe vibrations, and Santiago had it fixed up and back on the road in no time. He gave my car an inspection to make sure I wasn’t wasting my money on the wrong parts, and the price I got was definitely fair. Great shop, especially if you’re pressed for time.
