101 Drive-In

It is a rare occasion when i gush over hamburgers, there are too many reasons to list. Often it’s price, sometimes it’s quality of the meat (thanks Sysco) or skimping on the rest of the ingredients. I was blown away by the food at this spot. First we were greeted warmly and playfully which was very nice. The spot was sheltered, had a great breeze on a hot day and even had a bathroom. The staff listened, answered all our questions and the food was perfectly timed and cooked. My patty melt almost made me cry, I can’t begin to tell you how badly I already want another. The wontons were good, we tried a mix of regular and jalapeño which were more flavorful than spicy. The garlic fries were tremendous too and my guest wanted to go back for another burger after we arrived back on our the coast. They have shakes next time I’ll try, I love ice cream. Their tea is fire as well. This is a must when you want a burger and more.

Still best burger ever. This is one of my main food stops when I am in town visiting. Can't miss with the Ortega burger. Good sized patty and not too much bread. Just be patient when ordering, or phone ahead if possible.

Awesome burgers, patty melt and western burger were delicious! Fried Mushrooms were the best we've ever had! So happy we saw great reviews and decided to give it a go. We'll definitely be stopping here again next time we're driving through town!

Great burgers. Milkshakes are the specialty here, so I tried the Coffee, and that was excellent! Great service as well.

Wow! We stopped through this town for dinner 6 days ago and I'm still thinking about this burger and when I might possibly take a trip 5 hours from my home to get another one.
The bun is INCREDIBLE. I took home half my burger and the bun was good THE NEXT DAY! If I would have known I would have bought burgers for the week.
It takes about 10 minutes because they cook everything fresh. We had western burgers and waffle fries. It tasted home made (we're really good cooks).
The hours vary for how busy it is. Google had them closing at 6:30, but they were still open by the time we left 7:15.

Great family owned spot. Burgers were made with quality, locally raised beef and the produce was fresh and crunchy. The garlic fries have granulated garlic powder instead of fresh garlic, which I'm not used to seeing, but this style makes it so you can eat the fries in the car and not get your hands super oily :) Service was excellent. Its a pretty popular spot so the wait can be a bit longer than usual for a burger spot, but its definitely worth it.

I had to admit that the jalapeno burger tasted so good I still crave it, but I live so far and definitely, will visit that spot if I'm in the area.

It’s a bit of a wait during peak hours Friday and the weekend but it is so good and really worth it. You can upgrade to a local beef and their garlic fries and burgers are bomb. Soft serve ice cream and root beer floats top everything off perfectly. Defiantly a good place to stop on the way up the 101.

Great burgers. They cook everything to order so it comes out fresh. I like the buns they use, they don't get all soggy and the stuff on the burger does not fall out. Fries and milkshakes are really tasty too.

Best burgers! And the onion rings are fantastic! Highly recommend. Burgers are not cooked until you order, so there's a wait.....but so worth every moment.

I have been coming to this drive in since I first moved to willits in 2001. I would come here for lunch when I was in high school and years after. Haven't been here in so long but decided to stop in.... 22 years later and I still loooove that mushroom burger! The garlic fries actually taste like fresh garlic fries. And the prices are unbelievable considering everywhere else has begun to charge much higher prices. You guys are so great and I'm so glad I can bring my family here now after all these years! Thanks! :)

Great food cooked fresh this beats fast food in Willits any day highly recommend the shakes are also great

Be aware, they have fresh ingredients per order so be prepared to wait! This is far from fast food. They have great customer service! The bun is to die for. Seriously one of the best burgers I've ever had. It's worth the wait time. I recommend calling or texting your order in ahead of time. You won't be disappointed. It's delicious!!

Some of the best burgers I've had! The hamburgers are definitely fantastic but don't sleep on the mushroom or veggie burgers either! (P.S. Also get a milkshake, butterscotch is my favorite)🙃

Parking of the front can be tight but there's a lot in the back.

The best, most affordable burger joint in the area. Always a treat coming here. The fries and onion rings are also wonderful, and they have boba tea etc, which is awesome.
If you like your food salty, ask for some salt packets. The burgers are fresh, taste homemade and are never over-salted. The buns are also freshly-made, not mass-produced. The burgers remind me of the former Alley Burger, especially because of the fresh bread.
This is our lunchtime spot whenever we have appointments at Howard Memorial. Going there tomorrow! 🍔
