JD Redhouse & Company

We loved finding this place on the way to Fort Bragg. We were looking for coffee/tea and found much more. They had great sandwiches, drinks, and while we waited we got to check out diverse shopping, including lots of things for pets. If you have an RV like we did, you will struggle a little bit to find parking as it is downtown.

They bent over backwards to help me with my dog, who was in a bad way Jake is awesome. My dog is better.
Some say they’re to expensive, but by the time you drive to ukiah and buy the same thing cheaper you’ve lost already, gas and you will buy more going there. So be smart and buy at it At JD Redhouse in your own town.

This place is probably one of the best kept secrets in Willits when it comes to sandwiches and salads. Their spinach salad and chicken salad sandwich is the best ever. I never see too many people in their cafe eating which tells me it hasn't caught on quite yet. The staff are super friendly and they put a lot of love into everything they prepare. Their prices are reasonable too. Try them out. You won't be disappointed!

A fun store to find gifts and supplies. I highly recommend making a stop at the ice cream counter. I was brave and tried the mushroom ice cream. It ended up being a new favorite.

Fantastic selection of both utilitarian items for the farm and animals and great options for gifts and clothing. We love that they regularly host or participate in the community events. The ice cream and coffee are delicious! We love this place. Staff is kind and knowledgeable and we never have had an issue there. Quality of products are top notch.

What an amazing job they've done reviving this downtown Willits landmark. They have a really nice selection of merchandise and snacks accompanied by friendly service. We have stopped in twice now on our way through Willits to get coffee, ice cream and to take a break from the road.
If you're passing through give them a try. You won't be disappointed. ☺

Very cool store. They have items I don't see anyplace else. Clothing, Hats, Shoes, hiking gear, candy, soaps, way too much to list. Everything is presented in a very tasteful and elegant surrounding. Whenever we are going near Willits, we always stop by, new items often. Fun place to browse.

Nice place. Great staff. Good for items you don't want to drive all the way to Ukiah to get.

My experience when I go into JD Red House is always great and lots of fun when I take Dutch in my Chihuahua puppy so he can pick out a new toy. I think it's a really good experience for him and I thank JD Red House for letting me be able to give Dutch this experience.

KD Redhouse is like an old fashioned general store, serving the town of Willits. They've got everything from clothing to ice cream, from pet supplies to sporting goods. And all at very reasonable prices. The folks who work there are always friendly and very helpful since they know their stock very well. Next time you're in town, be sure to stop and a shop. You will not be disappointed.

Great place wish I would of gone there sooner

This is an interesting place that is cozy enough to feel welcoming and spacious enough to have a wide variety of items in their store. Clothing, footwear, pet supplies, some food items, a deli, and the incredible ice cream from Cowlicks! You do not have to travel to the coast to get some of the best tasting ice cream!
The folks who work here are friendly, knowledgeable and at the same time, they give you space to shop.
If you want to feel what it is like to be in a country store atmosphere, stop by here! You will love it!

Th8s place has such a variety of items. If you need a gift for anybody this is the place to come. Also great selection for dog items. Amything you need for your dogs is here. Also has a restaurant on site. You have to check this place out. I love it.

The staff here are all super friendly and helpful. Great feed and supply store. Has almost everything you need for the farm at decent prices. Also has a nice selection of clothes, art supplies, and souvenirs. They serve amazing food and and ice cream and have a large assortment of candy.

Back to school prices are a big bonus right now for clothing and apparel too. Fun place to browse and find fun treasures!!

Our family loves JD Redhouse! The staff is is above and beyond helpful, if there’s a product line they don’t carry, if possible they’ll order it and have it delivered to the store. The deli and ice cream shop always greets you with a smile. The cashiers in the main store always make you feel like you’re part of the JD Redhouse family. We appreciate their wide selection of items in this general store!

I love JD Redhouse! My daughter and I go at least a couple of times per month to get sandwiches and some yummy treats. They also have so many other great things to buy. We have bought my husband his work mucks there, beautiful hummingbird feeders, bird seed, etc. I highly recommend checking them out!
