Ghost Block Estate Wines

Ghost Block was the first stop on our tour and a great place to start! Luis was friendly and informative and the wine was delicious. Thanks for the wine and lemons too!

Delicious wine and even better sommelier!! Luis was the perfect guide to this amazing winery. We visited 8 wineries in Napa, and this was our favorite. It’s literally surrounded by ridiculously expensive wines surrounding it and produces wine equal in flavor but 1/2 the cost of the wines next door. We honestly loved every single wine we tried,. This will be our must go-to winery when visiting Napa!

Our host was Luis and he was wonderful. We had the best time tasting wine and enjoy conversation. I would highly recommend this experience a d ask for Luis.

This is a hidden gem in Napa! We had a really detailed winetour through their vineyards with sommelier Luis, who is very professional and formidable . I recommend Ghost Block without any doubts for everyone and specially those who are still not decided which visit among many options. (Winetour fee is waived after a purchase of their wine bottles, truly recommended)

This is so long overdue! We were there in June for my brother's b-day and this place was amazing especially our wine specialist Karri Korte!!!! She made the experience so much fun. She had as laughing so much, we loved all her stories and her expertise in the wines! Thank you Karri for all the fun memories. The place is decorated really nice. We left with lots of bottles and a nice tip for Karri to thank her for our great experience. We will definitely be back and will request you!

My friends and I had one of the best and most educational wine tastings at Ghost Block out of twelve wineries we traveled to on our trip to Napa. As a sommelier, Luis provided us with great insights into not only the wines made through the Napa Wine Company but also into viticulture and how we should evaluate each wine we taste. He patiently answered everyone's questions and generously used demonstrations and imagery to illustrate his points. We enjoyed nearly all of the wines we tried and each bought wines for ourselves and other friends to enjoy.

Luis was amazing, this wine and vineyard tour was amazing. Not commercial or touristy. Such an awesome experience. Highly recommend!

We had the best time at our Ghost Block tasting! Luis was incredibly knowledgeable and answered all of our wine-related questions in addition to walking us through each of the wines we tasted. He was attentive and really made our first Napa experience fantastic. The wines were delicious, the atmosphere was friendly, and the stories were great. I'd recommend that everyone put this winery on their list to visit!

Perfect way to end 2022. Karri is such a gracious host, she treated us like family. The wine is really darn good. This is a first class winery. Family friendly, casual and comfortable, and great history.

Ghost Block was the first tasting of our visit to Napa. Luis was an amazing host that set the bar very high for our other winery visits. He was knowledgeable, attentive and warm. He obviously has a passion for what he does and it shows. He really listened and tailored the experience to us. Not a difficult decision to ship wine home from this lovely family owned winery.

Went as part of a Platypus tour. It was a great visit. Our host gave a quick overview of tasting fundamentals. Their Cabernets were our favorites here. We were able to do a barrel tasting to see the changes over time.

My friend and I were referred to Ghost Block to find a hostess gift and we were not disappointed. Luis was extremely welcoming and clearly passionate about these exceptional wines. He did a tasting for us, and didn't rush us, despite being near closing time. The wines were outstanding and we enjoyed learning the history and the legend of Ghost Block. The tasting room itself is a very cool place. The decor is funky without being overdone or kitschy. You could very easily miss this gem if you're not on the look out for it, but I'd throughly recommend seeking it out. Thanks, Luis!

I love this place! They have remodeled the tasting room and it’s honestly one of the most beautiful in the valley! Family owned and you feel it too. Plus their wines are amazing without the crazy high price tag! Rated equal or better than some wines in the hundreds! I always bring family and friends here and after a long day of wine tasting this is always the place we buy from.

This was our favorite stop in Napa. We felt welcomed like we were sitting in a friend’s living room. Our host, Brian, was engaging and knowledgeable about the wines and the history of the vineyard and area. We never felt rushed and the wine is fantastic. Great experience and even better wine!

Great tasting wines and the experience with Luis Toscano was awesome. Very knowledgeable about the wines he poured. I felt welcomed and not intimated by my lack of knowledge of wines. He walked me through each wine. I will definitely visit Ghost Block again.

My husband and I spent 5 days exploring wineries in Sonoma and Napa County. We explored almost 20 wineries during our entire stay. One of the most memorable overall experiences, hands down, was our time spent at Ghost Block and their wonderful staff.

We were received with a warm and genuine welcome from Karri. Karri guided us throughout our tasting experience. She was truly knowledgeable and took the time to sit with us not only to explain the wines but also to share with us the origin of Ghost Block, the family history and other fascinating facts about the winery. In addition to offering the wine tasting menu, Karri took the time to learn about our individual preferences to customize our tasting experience.

Not only did Karri educate us on the process behind the varietals, she added her own personal touches which made the visit far more unique in comparison to other experiences we have had. It was refreshing to learn about wines in a conversation that did not seem rehearsed.

We have been to wineries in Napa, Sonoma and the central coast several times. My husband and I had never experienced a tasting flight where we truly enjoyed each and every offering, until we visited Ghost Block. We were truly moved by our experience that we decided to become wine club members for the first time.

Simply amazing. Despite the construction, we were delighted to have a intimate tasting with a knowledgable rep by the name of Brian. Each and every wine was delicious. We are from Canada and can only take home a select few, we opted to take home three wines from Ghost. This is an absolute must and you won't be disappointed.

Love this winery and there wine. Kenny is my go to guy and always steers me right. Arguably the best cab in the valley from the best vineyards in yountville/oakville

Just got another case of wine and was shipped with cooling blocks to protect the wine. Always the extra touch! Kenny made recommendations as to best time to ship to protect the wine as well. Always first class service and in my opinion best wine and service in Napa and I’ve been buying Napa wines for 25+ year.

Karri was amazing - we loved our tasting and she made the day with her warmth and knowledge of the wine and history.
