First time here as it was highly recommended. The food was delicious and well worth it as it was a big portion of food. Workers are welcoming here and friendly.

They have a great tritip sandwich. It was big enough for my daughter and I to share. It came with a side and we had a green salad which was also very good. We had the champagne vinaigrette dressing which is so flavorful. My daughter has had the Portuguese beans and says they are very good. Will try them myself next time. Highly recommend you try this place. Keep in mind that selection of food is limited. But what they offer is worth trying and eating. 😊

This is a hidden gem that everyone needs to try if you haven’t already! This place is amazing!! I ordered the Trophy Case Tri-Tip Dip sandwich. The sandwich was mouthwatering delicious and full of the right flavors. For my side dish, I had The Chicken Pot Pie Soup which was as their soup of the day. That soup was so good I might have to get some to go next time. For my beverage, I had fresh lemonade and a Diet Pepsi. To top it off, I couldn’t leave without having their Strawberry Shortcake cookie that was calling my name as I was eating my Tri-Tip Sandwich. The service here is friendly and I highly recommend this to everyone.

This has truly been one delectable find, by far one of the best accidental run-ins to an amazing place. Do not be fooled by the word bakery this place is so much more. I was only going to see what they had on the menu but to my surprise they were So welcoming and really made me feel at home. I was surprised because since I am not well acquainted with Portuguese food they allow me to sample a few items and it was truly amazing. I must admit for my first time I did not try any of the baked goods but I will next time. The sandwich that I purchased was a Portuguese pulled pork with an amazing sauce over it placed on a fantastic delectable soft bun. If that wasn't enough I could not resist when they said biscuits and gravy, with me being a Alabama hometown person I had to see how did it measure up. I can report with complete confidence that I was truly amazed The biscuits were first of all huge along with being moist, dense, and just so flavorful. You could actually call it angel food with a nice crusty outside lol, but it did not disappoint and you should still get the biscuits if you're not a fan of the gravy. I actually was and it was thick and hardy and truly worth the purchase. The picture that I included was only a half order! Yes I said half order A full order would be an additional biscuit splitting half and that was way too much for myself and my wife. This place was such an amazing find that once I took the food home I had to call them back to tell them how amazing everything was. If you are in the Merced area and want to try something truly exquisite and a little different from the norm you found the right place. I would urge you to also try their crackers that are baked fresh daily, they are crisp, fresh, and just a good amount of spicy to put a nice zip and tang in your mouth. I am happy to give this wonderful establishment five stars for everything because they are truly worth it.

Super friendly and warm service, feels like home. The biscuits and gravy platter was huge for the price, very filling; the Portuguese beans are also fantastic. The little jenny dessert was better than any store bought cakes I've had. A real gem.

Amazing service & Food!!! Went in today and bought a couple of tri tip sandwhich with soup meals for my wife and son. While I was waiting with my wife's service dog, they brought our dog sliced up turkey which our dog loved. The staff are very kind, love service animals and make amazing homeade food. A true hidden gem in Merced. Highly recommend!!!

I’m a regular here and I’m glad to say that. The iced coffee is so good, biscuits and gravy are delicious, and there’s a lunch veggie sandwich there it’s to die for. Also the gooey bars is just a pastry you have to try I promise you won’t regret it!!!

The tri tip dip sandwich and Portuguese beans were both delicious.

I had her cater my new years eve party. The food was a huge hit, specially her home made crackers rolls and cannolis. Everyone wanted more!

Visiting from Washington and my sister and niece brought us sandwiches. I had the best turkey sandwich I've ever had!

First time at Jenny Nicole's Old School Bakery, I had their chocolate chip brownie cook, which was amazing in flavor it just melted in your mouth, and I also got there apricot scone. Delicious best I've ever had. So welcoming and the atmosphere was so friendly. We will definitely be going back for more sweet treats and try one of their lunch special sandwiches.

The staff is very friendly! I ordered a tri-tip sandwich and biscuits and gravy. The portions were big, shareable, and delicious! You have to see their dessert options! It's a must-try spot that differs themselves from the rest of Merced!

The Portuguese sandwich I had yesterday was outrageously good! The beans were great like my Mom made so many years ago. I will be going back for sure! Soooo good!
