Panera Bread

The food tastes great and service is excellent. You feel heard and your needs met. Though food portions have shrunk due to inflation this place is reliable and consistent with the product they deliver.

Nice cafe with great salads and sandwiches. Very friendly staff.

This sandwich was so good! And on my way out I remembered to ask if they had pickles and the girl threw one in last minute--so nice! I love Merced Panera. This is a half Chipotle Chicken Avocado Sandwich 🥪😋

Came in for a quick bite and to charge my phone, very relaxing environment. Got a You-Pick-2 with soup and salad and staff was very nice and helpful. Got my food very quickly, less than 5 minutes. I asked for some extra dressing and utensils and they were very accommodating.

We always use the drive thru and it's always good.

Great lunch place. Soups, sandwiches, salads, pastries all good. Their breads and bagels are so good. Highly recommend. Update: 10/1/2023. Still same review. Love their soups. Wasn't feeling good so popped in for a bowl of chicken noodle soup. I love all their soups. Recommend 1/24/2024 same review - best broccoli cheddar soup around. Yummy

This my first time being at panera. Atmosphere looked nice. The cashier named felix was pretty nice. I ordered a chicken melt with potato chips they were pretty good. 10/10 would recommend

First time there, we welcomed right away! The young lady that helped us gave fabulous recommendations to eat! We loved it there! Food was so ooooooooooooo yummy 😋. Definitely going back! Also very clean.

I always get the turkey avocado sandwich and broccoli and cheddar. The bread is soft and tasty. They have a good selection on drinks.

Always a great place to get good food without much of a wait. Even when busy, it's still relatively quiet and relaxing. Friendly staff. Clean restrooms.

I love this place. The coffee subscription is perfect for me. I get a free coffee every morning and if I want a large soft drink later in the day, it's free too.

What can I say, It’s yummy. Anyways I have to say that there beagles are amazing and delicious. My family likes them as well. I order often too ha. But I wanted to take time to write this review because the employees are amazing people.

The staff members are friendly, helpful and overall doing a great job🤩. The salads are fresh, tasty and well proportioned. This is a recommended spot for health and taste as a vegetarian. I order the salad with extra quinoa "for protein" at least twice a week as a post workout meal. Two thumbs up!

My husband and I are both self employed and don't have much time to wait for restaurant service. We love that we can place and order on line and just pick it up on the Ready stand without waiting in line. The sandwiches are inventive and yummy, salads are great and the soups are all delicious. The breads are really good too, especially the baguettes. It's fast and convenient but not FAST FOOD.

Better alternative than other quick bites to eat. Prices are more affordable than Starbucks, bad example, but of like kind clientele. Good quality food, decent drink selection of coffee and tea (choose the bag and hot water); it's self service drink bar, so you can only blame yourself when it comes out wrong. Pleasant environment and friendly staff. Only irk is when paying with card it suggests a tip. Not being cheap, but I'm paying before I get served so how do I justify a tip prior to service?

I normally don't go Panera because it's slightly expensive. However, every time I visited Panera (merced) I have had the best customer service. Despite long lines I receive my FRESH food within minutes. The cashier is always friendly and helpful despite me and my wife being picky eaters. The cashiers takes the time to help me pick a flavorful item, by recomending items and ensuring I get a good deal. It is always a pleasure to come to Panera.

I'm only giving this Panera Bread in Merced five stars, because I like Panera Bread.
The only drawback to the Panera Bread in Merced is that it is too tiny. I have been to a number of them that were much larger, and carried much more of everything, and weren't always running out of products.
They should have used the entire building instead of only part of it, and even then it would have been just barely large enough to accomodate so many customers.
When Yosemite Park traffic ramps up again, and it will in a very big way, they will have to turn customers away who don't have all day to wait for a seat or a parking space, or be frustrated after waiting only to find what they want already sold out.

Great customer service. I ordered on line (menu was user friendly), a few hours in advance for dinner, badda bing, badda boom, delivered on time, placed on porch as requested maintaining no contact delivery. I am so appreciative and I'll be back...
