I have been a club member for a while but live in Oregon. This was my first visit to the club house. Karen was our wine associate and she was incredible. I have worked in the wine business for a decade in hospitality management and this was hands down one of the best experiences I have had. The wine flight was incredible, along with pairings on the charcuterie board. This is my happy place. Can’t wait to visit again.

Cakebread Cellars is by far the best winery we've experienced! Our visit was truly exceptional, thanks to our amazing host, Kathy Martin. She was incredibly lovely, made us feel very comfortable, and her knowledge about the wines at Cakebread Cellars was impressive. We learned so much from her, which enhanced our overall experience. She was also nice enough to take pictures of us during the experience. Highly recommend this winery and Kathy's tour!

I had the pleasure of touring this stunning winery with Charlie as our guide, and it was an unforgettable experience. The property itself is breathtaking, with picturesque views at every turn. Cakebread was awesome and the tasting guide Carl was fabulous. The tour was very informative and interactive. Wines were terrific. Beautifully maintained facilities. Would recommend and definitely ask to be with Carl’s group!

Dean was a wonderful host. Please ask for him when booking your tasting. We had such an informative and fun tasting with him and the group we were placed with. Cakebread has been one of my go-to wines for a few years, but I had no idea the wines they are keeping for members/tasting guests. Oh wow! Try the 1986 cab and any of the Dancing Bears.

Jane and Karen were so helpful and sweet for our guided tasting! Both ladies had great notes for the wines we tasted and really nice recommendations for the rest of our Napa trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here, including the beautiful wooden buildings and concrete fermentation eggs. Cheers! 🍷

Super friendly, unpretentious staff and lovely wines. Dina was our guide and historian for an interesting tour of the facility. She had great dining recommendations for after our tour as well. Really enjoyed Cakebread Winery!

We visited cakebread for a bachelorette trip and it was amazing! We were well taken care of and learned a lot from Carl. The grounds are also beautiful and our wine tasting included a full tour. I especially loved being able to do the tastings in different areas of the winery. Thank you Carl!

One of the best wineries in Napa that allows kids and very family friendly. They are known for their Chardonnay but my fave has always been their Cab. Jane has been a spectacular host to our group. She was so knowledgeable, warm, and a delight.

We visited Cakebread Cellars and got a tour from Jane. She was wonderful and very knowledgeable. She knew how to handle a big group like ours, we were 9.

Their wine was dry and delicious. My favorite was the Pinot Noir. We got to see where the wines were stored as well. The french oak barrels room was a sight for sure!!

Their interior was beautiful! Wood everywhere. It was very warm and welcoming. Their restroom was also clean and fit the theme, they had Toto toilet, iykyk.

Overall, I would rate this winery and its tour a 10/10. A definite stop when you visit Sonoma.

Really lovely experience and superb wines. We did a tour, led by Jane. She was absolutely fantastic and created a relaxing and memorable experience for us. Her knowledge was top notch and she answered all of our questions we had along the way. Highly recommend stopping by! The grounds are beautiful, although one of the more historically older vineyards of the area, it has a modern and sleek finish.

Melissa gave us a fantastic wine tasting tour. We loved her personality and Cakebread stories. I would highly recommend this tasting and tour (with Melissa if you can 😁). I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the wine. I have seen Cakebread wine on restaurant menus, but thought the name sounded gimmicky so didn't try it. I didn't realize it was just the last name of the founder. The wine is good. If we lived closer then we would have become members. The Vinyard is beautiful and well worth a visit.

A wonderful, interactive cooking class (mostly sophisticated prep), tour of lovely gardens, and the production facility, and then a delicious meal with paired wine. I recommend the cooking classes without hesitation.

We went for a family tasting today (2 adults and 3 kiddos) and had an excellent time. This is one of the few wineries that would allow kids, we weren't really sure what to expect.

They were incredibly gracious to accommodate our late arrival due to unexpected traffic delays from SF. Our tour guide Sam didn't rush us through the tasting as she guided us through the newly renovated and beautiful cellar, stunning gardens and tasting rooms. We loved every single Red we tasted, and purchased some to be shipped home. Thank you again for your hospitality, we will return ❤🍷

This is a great winery to visit in Napa Valley, we were lucky enough to have a private tour of this cellar, they’ve been making wine for little over 50 years.
Their Chardonnay was excellent, so is the Cabernet Sauvignon, so smooth and delicious, especially when you pair it with a nice juicy steak!
They grow their own vegetable garden, that the chef uses in his dishes.
The place is very clean and organized and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Thank you for making our tour such a memorable one.

Cakebread is one of our favorite wines! When we planned a trip to Napa area we knew we had to go and visit. The tour did not disappoint! Lisa was such a great tour guide and we are so grateful we were able to experience tasting such amazing wine. It was amazing to hear about the history of company and the origins of where the grapes are grown. My husband and I loved the experience and will definitely visit again!

Beautiful winery and the courtyard with amazing wine. Loved our walking tour with Art. Not only he was informative but also very entertaining. He was very kind and explained how Napa wines are different from French wines. Loved their Chardonnay and Merlot that we ended up purchasing a bottle. Would love to return

We took part in their 50th Anniversary wine tour, which included food and wine pairing. Kelly provided us with a lovely tour experience. Their red wines were outstanding, and we were pleasantly surprised by how tasty their chardonnay was. My husband enjoyed it so much that we joined their wine club.
