Fahrens Park

I love Fahrens park. It is one of my favorite places. I love all of the trees that are around. I've lived by Fahrens park for years now. It's where I take my walks & also do some squirrel & bird feeding. Disappointed with the increasing homeless in the area. Because of this, I've seen more trash around the area than ever before. I'm sure neighbors right next to the park don't appreciate this.

It's always a wonderful walk here at Fahrens! There's the smell of all the beautiful eucalyptus trees and the lovely stream. Alot of animal life to see..squirrels, ducks, geese, storks, beavers and there are benches throughout. A place with a canopy to host a birthday party or BBQ. This place is full of spots to take beautiful pictures but the bridge is where people live to take professional photos. Be forwarned there are no restrooms in site. I recently saw if you follow the trail you will run into a kids park.. it's dated but works. There are trails to jog everywhere.

Great park but you need to bike to get to get (it’s on a bike path) or you can park 2 blocks away. Great sitting merry go round!

This is a nice park with a water stream and beautiful eucalyptus trees. It has a paved path that serves bikes and strollers. It is a quiet and peaceful place, and much nicer than other parks around town.

Great Park. Great environment, bike path is serviceable, always a fair amount of people using the facilities. There are homeless people here and there but nobody really bothers you. Pretty good frisbee golf course as well.

They recently redid the playground and it’s really nice.

A great walking path to go with friends to enjoy walking in nature. The area is kept very clean, lawns are mowed regularly and kept green. The path is paved. I walk with other ladies that are also senior citizens and we find it a very pleasant place to take our walks and get our exercise. There is a stream that runs through the park with plenty of trees for shade. In the area near R Street there is a playground for children.
Update: I hadn't been back to walk here in awhile. But, I'm back and it's just as nice as ever. There were four drivable lawn mowers running to keep the lawns nice. There were people there playing frisbee golf, walkers on the walking path, sime riding bicycles, others walking their dogs. Nice place.

It was a wonderful walk along a creek with a crane and some ducks. Well maintained walkways plus some dirt path. I started at the parking lot then all the way to the Snelling Hwy then back and all the way to R Street, about 3 miles by my fitbit and 70 minutes (I did stop to admire the crane and ducks). I loved it

Tough and very fun disc golf course

Serene, shady, fishing, and crawfish and it’s pet friendly. I had a good time with my little sisters and my kids and hubby xoxoxo. What a blast! Best walk we’ve had in a while.

You can walk for hours here and bring your furry friend along. Beautiful and peaceful scenery. Best time to come is during the fall after 3 pm.

Disc Golf.

It has a Disc golf course.
Large areas of grass and a creek that passes by.

Plus there are plenty of photo opportunities abound.

It's finally done replacing playground and it's wonderful

Lovely thg park, one of my favorite places for bird watching

It gets spooky at night, so always bring a flashlight and some mace lol :) its a nice park. I see they are working on improving it by putting more cross bridges and spot lights in dark areas at night.

Wow this is a beautiful Park it's really big and a lot of space to walk around if you need space it's pretty nice it feels like you're in the woods in some places but all in all it's pretty cool frisbee Park I never knew there was such a thing as a frisbee Park

This park is awesome... The playground is surrounded by trees and Bear Creek outlines this amazing bike path with bridges and tunnels. My kids loved it and that makes it great in my book..

I loved the peacefulness of this place, even while hearing people missing the disc golf cages haha! The way the light shines through the trees and the images reflect off the water, you can't help but appreciate this place.
