Easily the quickest, and most trustworthy mechanic in the area. I usually do all of my own repairs. However when I run into a problem or find a job I cant do rod comes to the rescue. Stopped by yesterday to check about getting my struts replaced and he ordered the parts on the spot at around 4pm and said have it here in the early am. He started on it as soon as I pulled in his driveway at 945. Such a friendly guy that charges based on actual input. I stopped with a flat on my motorcycle and no charge to set it back on the bead and air it up. Hands down best shop in my opinion.

Just a shout out to the guys at Cal's in Willits. We were travelling north on 101, when we encountered some violent wobbling in the car. Pulled of and limped to Cal's where they quickly deduced that the folks who had rotated our tires the day before did not torque down the lug nuts on our rear tires and in fact we had one of the studs sheared completely off!. The owner at Cal's was friendly, fair and quick to help. With his assistance we were back on the road about an hour later. Nice people, great service... fair pricing. Thanks to Cal's Garage !

As a single woman on the road I value a honest mechanic. His quote was $200 less than another quote I received. He also had me in and out within a couple of hours. I highly recommend this mechanic

Rod was our HERO. I must to hit something on my travels and a bolt 🔩 came out of my engine cover. It was dragging and I was so scared something terrible happened. I pulled in and asked for help. Immediately he looked at my car and had it fixed in 5 minutes. He only asked for $20. I had $45 in cash and gave it all to him. He didn't want to take it but I insisted! It's men like him that are real HERO's. You can't put a price on amazing customer service like that. Thank you Rod for being honest, and accommodating. Your shop deserves more then 5 ☆'s!!!!!

I was referred to Cals from Adams, both fabulous companies. At Cal's garage the minute he opened he went out of his way to find the tire to put on a car for me that I could drive across the country after dealing with my dad's estate their compassion and was amazing.

My brake lights stop working I was able to schedule a appointment to come to get them fix. I am super happy it did not cost me a arm and a leg. He found the probably and fix it. I will definitely go back for any other work I will need done on my car.

The loss of fluid light came on and the water pump on our Riata Motor home went out about 10 miles north of Willits. When we pulled into a Chevron station to fill up with gas it became very apparent that we needed mechanical help. The nearest shop was swamped but referred us to Cal's Garage and Rod Skidmore whom they said was very good and trustworthy. It was about 2 PM. Even though the part was 30 miles away, Rod got the work done and we were on our way by 4:30. Parts were pricey but we were very pleased with the work and the quick response to our need.

They helped me get my brakes done last minute when I was trying to move to oregon. Super helpful and very nice. So grateful they were the only ones who could fit me in quickly.

Broke down cal crowded my truck in and fixed my fuel pump same day o dropped it off. Great people there and I'd recommend anyone near willits and in need of help Cal and his team are who you need! Thanks cal!!

Excellent service! I brought in my old F350 dually. He did a great job at everything and for a fair price too! Definitely would recommend!
