Little Oven Pizza

Super busy during weekend nights, but to be expected with a popular and super good pizza place. Got a slice of the special for the day, tastes amazing and reminded me of home back on the East coast. Highly recommend at least trying a slice!

I was not expecting the pizza to be so good. Came through Merced for business and was fortunate to come across Little Oven Pizza. You can buy a whole 18" New York style pizza or just a slice or two. The DiFara was fire. On another day, I got a couple of slices of Pepperoni. They were so delicious. It's ok to get pizza from Little Oven 3 times in one week right?
And don't get me started talking about the salads. Their housemade dressing is amazing on top of the greens with fresh mozzarella, pine nuts and what looks and tastes like pistachios.
I will always stop here as a pass through Merced.

This is a great little place, the pizza is always good the service is really good the people are are friendly, I love to take my family here. It's a great place if you want a quick bite because they sell pizza by the slices. They always have a variety of toppings. And the price is really good!

Super tiny little pizza place but they have a ton of unique flavors that are very different from your regular run of the mill pizza place. They have daily specials that change constantly and you can buy by the slice. So you could walk in, grab a bite, and keep walking down the street. They have a big selection of good beers and even wine so you'll be satisfied. They have a bunch of unique cream sodas in glass bottles (not that evil plastic) with one I've never seem before... blueberry cream! It's NY style so it's thin crust. The pizzas are called pies here and they are huge! They seem like 2 feet in diameter but I'm sure they are not. The pizza is very good with fresh toppings from local farms which I like. They recycle also which I also really like. They serve paper plates and paper bags! Yay! No plastic that will kill hundreds of fish over hundreds of years. Give this place your business... enjoy good food and help move restaurants away from plastics!

Their unique pizza combination do not disappoint. Their beer selection is tops if you're willing to try something new.

I’ve been coming to little ove pizza since it opened, and I can truly say my favorite pizza is their Bee 1000. It comes with a red sauce, salame, fresh mozzarella, honey, chili oil and oregano. The bread is thin, light and delicious. You get a little bit of both worlds with the crust. Some parts are soft and chewy while others will have a casual crunch, which I enjoy. They have Parmesan, chili flakes, chili oil, oregano and garlic powder available to sprinkle on your pizza. I put a little bit of everything on my slices, but the chili oil is definitely my favorite.

Another one of the pizzas I’ve tried and loved are the Bandito & Smokey Joe. Bandito has character, so be warned. It has a white sauce with salame, roasted garlic, dates and jalapeños! It’s an experience, a delicious one. Smokey Joe is just as delicious, but more on the classic side. It has a red sauce with bacon, smoked scarmoza and jalapeños.

They offer vegetarian options as well, and I have to say that their Phoenix pizza is my favorite from their selection. Phoenix has a white sauce with pistachios, red onion and Parmesan. This combinations is sweet and salty, but very well balanced. They add some lemon zest at the end, which is refreshing to the palate.

Try their salads! They are delicious and always fresh. Great vinaigrette.

Overall, always a great experience. There is plenty of parking near by. The establishment itself is compact, but it’s a great environment.

Good Pizza! The pizza is different than your regular places. They have unique ingredients and flavors check their instagram to see what pizza they have for the day. They also do slices of cheese and pepperoni plus their pizza of the day. Their pizza is thin crust so if you don’t like that then this place is not for you. They do sometimes do a pan style but need to check before hand. They also have a house salad that is delicious with simple greens. Location is good n downtown Merced and is a local favorite. Cost is fitting for local business and fresh ingredients. $$. They do have a limit of whole pizzas due to the fresh ingredients so call ahead and expect a wait for it’s all made fresh.
This place is great if you are going to the movies and want to get a slice after or staying at El Capitan Hotel and want a good pizza(it’s just down the street walking distance).

We were finally in Merced and had the chance to stop by Little Oven. I have to say it's simple and delicious. We picked the slice of pizza we wanted an in 3 minutes or less they brought our pizza slices to us. For the price and all, it was great. 😋🍕

Pizza is great, but they need a separate line for pick up orders! You’re given a time to come get the pizza and then you have to wait in line 15 more minutes.

Good pizza! I don’t usually eat pizza and I’ve never had this place but today I’m glad my girl brother and I were craving it ! Loved it!

Founded by 2 awesome guys from Philadelphia, this is the place to get truly amazing New York style pizza that is easily the best in Merced and the surrounding area. Creative and high quality toppings, great crust, delicious sauce, and unique flavor combinations. They have at least 2 daily specials sold by the slice (along with the classic pepperoni and cheese), but you can also order whole pies. Even their house salad is excellent! Their vegan option is the only thing that is mediocre. For those looking to dine in, space is a bit limited, but they do have outside seating. A good selection of drinks and beers are a bonus. The only bummers are their hours (they close way too early in my opinion) and they also constantly run out of pizza (since they make the dough fresh every day and get super busy on some days with events or popular specials). But these can be easily overlooked for their super delicious pies. A must for the locals, but also highly worth a stop if you are passing through town.

So I never thought that sweet potato and pizza would go together or kale. Well, this place has proven me wrong. I had a few slices from here and look forward to their specialty white slice. Great different, a great NYC style pizza place
