The Partisan

Stopped by for one of the Halloween night events. The atmosphere was cool and spooky. The only thing I would say is that the audio for the live music was soooo loud. I literally couldn’t hear what anyone was trying to tell me even when they were speaking in my face. Other than that, it was a nice space with a good atmosphere.

The Partisan is a beautiful time capsule. The ambiance and energy of this gorgeous music house is exactly what my soul craves.
I wish that I would have taken pictures and video of the front of the stage. I was by the side, so my videos do not depict the beauty of this place.

They've got good drinks, good service, good prices. Staff is great, and the back half of the bar is separate if you're looking for something a little more quiet.

Great crowd, good selection of libations and awesome bartenders. Solid spot for checking out bands and shows on the weekends. They have a good mix of both local as well as out-of-town bands. Plus there's always something to do on the other nights of the week, which include trivia, open mic and DJs. By far one of the best bars in Merced that is fun, beautiful, clean and welcoming to all.

Must visit place! Stopped in for a couple drinks with a friend an this place was pretty jumping for a thursday night! The DJ was really good and our bartender Tanisha was awesome. Definitely recommend this place!

Great place for a drink with friends! If you go early enough it's very casual, but can pick up later in the night. Bartenders make great drinks and they sometimes have a DJ or live band. There is a room in the back if you want to move away from the crowd. Nothing, but good experiences here.

We have always enjoyed the Partisan. Loved it back in the old days when the bar was low and it was always dark and cool. Since then, it's been remodeled, and it's absolutely beautiful. The ceiling is gorgeous and detailed...the bar is lovely. The bartenders are always friendly and they make some really tasty and creative drinks. Whenever we get the chance we stop in for a sip, and we always have a nice time. I love that they have open mics, live music, and fun events. Way to go, Partisan!! So glad you are back, we missed you!!

Sweet spot for drinks and great service 👌

Bartenders are great. Stopped by 3 times during work training travels. Not an alcoholic, but the great beer, customer service, and mood of the place all got me hooked.

Bartenders are very nice and the remodeled bar looks amazing. I really like the crowd, very different from most Merced bars. Less country and more modern here. It is my top choice for cool bars in this town (even though there are not many)

Nice selection of beer on tap, even some non alcoholic options. Also the cocktail menu was creative and delicious. I tried the flea market fresca and cake by the ocean. Tanisha, the bartender was super chill!

This was the first time I've been in since they finished their remodel, it looks great inside. There was a nice selection of drinks, the bar tender was personable, and the other patrons were entertaining and a pleasure to talk with.

Great place! Beautiful inside, great wood work! Really nice bar, good bear selection and very good high end alcohol selection. Good prices too.

What an awesome place... Very classy, yet casual.. almost like entering another dimension.. this place provides the privacy and ambiance to allow a person the personal freedom to enjoy themselves.

Make sure you ask what your getting charged for 1st time the girl took $50 extra i found this out because when i ordered the same drinks the 2nd and 3rd time it was $50 less then what was charged my first time going but its ok she was obvious in need poor thing lol other then that the other two times the girls were amazing beautiful place great place to spend your night out im giving it 5 stars because 1 poor worker shouldn't effect others amazing customer service

A sister bar to the 17th street pub keeps the chill vibe going. Great place for meeting up with friends and such. Can’t wait for there to be food there one day lol
