I am a long time customer of this company. I find that if I'm flexible, I can really stretch my dollars when I shop here. With that being said, today I found the Merced location to be exceptional. It is the biggest store I've been in so far. It was super clean and very well organized. The employees on staff were so polite and helpful. It will be my new home store from now on. 10/10 experience! The guy in the back was able to find everything I was looking for really quickly. Although he was unpleasant to look at, he did an excellent job in assisting me. I believe his nametag said Luis. He was surprisingly very helpful and made my shopping experience so much faster since I was on a time crunch. I look forward to stopping by at this Big 5 solely because of how wonderful of an experience I had.

Hella good customer service the manager delegated another employee to help me out why she did a background check for someone else who was trying to buy ammo so I wasn't waiting forever much appreciation to that the prices on BB's and CO2 is a little high though but if you're there might as well get it cuz you never know how long you have to wait for someone Walmart to open up the glass case I've waited an hour before just to see how long it took.

I'm from the Bay area so this story was a lot bigger than I'm used to but the customer service was great they helped out with all My needs and the staff was really friendly the store was also really clean as well Will definitely come back when I'm out here

There are so many goods here for sporting. I passed them all because my kid needs some regular shoes, but there sure is a lot of random stuff here.

My daughter loves this store, to buy all her athletic clothing for PE an Cheer. It's a one time shopping stop. If every your looking for anything Outdoors or Athletic or just need good walking shoes this is your place.

Big 5 store in merced. Is a wonderful shopping experience it's a way bigger store lot more inventory the managers are very friendly the associate staff is very friendly they're always assisting in helping you find what you need. And there's always plenty of merchandise and stock in . for anybody into outdoors or sports this is a great store visit in merced California.

I have visited the Big 5 stores in other cities, but this is mine and I love it here. Always stocked with good priced inventory. Friendly sales people who will go get someone who has the answer for you. A-plus.

I had the opportunity to be looking for winter clothing for an Alaskan Cruise and was very pleased to find both coats and pants to meet my needs that were on sale! Clean location and very polite employees.
