Wings are low price and still the best Around $12 with tax for 10 ghost pepper pieces. Drove home to Chowchilla and it's still warm and crispy. It's not that spicy, got to add my own spice too it to make it 🔥 hehe. Customer service is great. Clean place.

I would like to say that the food here is amazing. Wonderful customer service. Gave me everything i asked for. Food nice and hot and fresh. I will be recommending and also be coming back. Love it here.

I love the red beans and rice and the biscuit with butter and honey is the bomb! The chicken strips combo meal is my favorite!!

Got lunch for 4, myself and 3friends and under $40 is for very good tasting fresh made food. Proud to sharecthis with others. Fave is the chicken sandwich $5 and the mac n' cheese.

After reading the prior reviews, I almost didn’t come. I’m glad I did. I interacted with two employees. They were both very respectful and eager to help. They didn’t have enough original so they offered me other options. I decided to wait for the original and they brought me ice water while I waited. The chicken was perfectly cooked and delicious.

My experience here at this Popeyes has always been great, very fast service and well done orders. I enjoyed the red stick chicken when it was here for a limited time and would occasionally come here for the spicy chicken sandwich. I would highly recommend it here for anyone in Merced or even passing by on the freeway and I would visit it again.

I came through drive thru with a large order and since I am a first timer (shocking I know) I wasn't too familiar with the menu. I don't recall the cashiers name but she was very helpful and knowledgeable when I asked questions. Exceptional customer service! The only thing missing was a side which is,understandable since they were very busy. The manager offered to have it ready for us to pick up or a refund, but my family didn't even miss it lol Thank you Popeyes! My family and I are new regular customers. Keep up the great work!!!!

I was in town to visit someone in ICU. I needed something kid-friendly (tenders!). I ordered spicy crispy tenders through the app. However, the app switched my order to the blackened tenders. I called in, and they told me that the order came in as such. I checked the app and it showed that my order had indeed been switched over. Denise invited me in to correct the order. The team were very accommodating. In the end, Denise advised me to keep the original order, which I ended up giving to some homeless people nearby. They were grateful. Thanks guys! I returned for a smaller order and the service was just the same. I do recommend.

Very good chicken.Crunchy and spicy and not to greasy. Loved the potatoes and gravy, they had a bit of spicy bite to them as well. The staff was very friendly and the place was clean. The guy at the counter accidently gave us 2 four piece chicken boxes and my friend brought it to his attention. He politely thanked her and we enjoyed our meal.

It was great. At the beginning they told us that they were short in staff yet they took our order and gave it to us quickly. The only two things that I would have to say is that the tables weren't supper clean and we asked our order for here but they gave it to us to go instead which is 2 minimal things understandable under the circumstances they were on. There was seriously a lot of people.

The people of Merced are Soo Lucky to be blessed with such an incredible Popeyes. Let me tell ya, the Popeyes in Turlock is absolutely traaaaash. I was shook this location only had a 3.6 stars even though for years now they always have the best food and customer service. Been like 20 times never had an issue. Perfect food hella fast. It's worth the 30 minute drive from turlock to get it because otherwise I'd be in the drive thru for atleast that to be told my foods not ready. Be thankful and grateful for what you have in Merced.

Yesterday they were short on workers, but they kept their cool even thou they were under pressure..i will definitely go there again. They handled the pressure very well.
I asked for a gallon of sweet tea, and they gave me by accident the unsweetened tea. I wouldn't dare complain seeing they pressure they were in....Good job...

This place is always packed and for good reason! The food is bomb and the portions are plentiful. I work now in Merced and always use the app to place my order. The staff there is ashtrays friendly amd efficient. The cooks in the back work verbally perfect with the front of the line! Well done people! I love your food! I am from New Mexico, I wanted to try some Popeyes from this location. The atmosphere, the workers, and the people of this location are one of a kind. Great service and delicious food. This was a great stop and made our day!

So much time to wait but is worth it

I got the fish and popcorn shrimp. They cook it fresh to order which takes about 5 minutes but boy'o...when food is given to you hot and fresh, you are forced to slow down and actually enjoy the experience. The flavors of the shrimp and fish were good. I did like the fish better because there was a bit more to sink your teeth into.

Wish the fish was a bit bigger but I must say, I enjoyed hot fast food for a change. Not that sit-under-the-lighbulb hot.

As usual, Popeyes is a unique fast food experience. Well it's not really fast but it sure is delicious food. The Merced Popeyes is as good as any Popeye's I've been into in Northern California. did you know they're owned by the same holding company that owns Burger King I just found that out today. Maybe that's why the new chicken tender strips at Burger King or so good.
