In-Shape Family Fitness

In-Shape has changed my life. It's wonderful to have a place to go where everyone is welcoming and non-judgmental. They have an impressive team of employees that are constantly moving and keeping everyone happy, super hard workers all around. There is a wide variety of machines and cardio equipment, a massive pool and hot tub, relaxing sauna, and massive training spaces. They recently remodeled and it looks amazing. I rarely cannot get a machine I want and there are always sanitizing supplies available. I have a membership that grants me entry to all active and lifestyle clubs and this is still the only gym I go to

I haven't been back since they upgraded and changed up the layout so I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in today! Looks brighter, more inviting, spacious, and clean!

Out of all the gyms in Merced this is the best place to go. It has a pool and a spa which I like the most. The other places do not have a inside pool or Spa. As for the equipment there is a lot of strange equipment I am not interested in. But there is a lot of cool equipment that I am interested in . I have back problems and there are machines that help the back . And it's just a nice cool place to come relax and work out the same time . Staff are friendly, members are friendly and respectful, and restrooms are always clean.....

Best gym I've ever been too! Has a ton of options and equipment to use. The kid zone is perfect for my kiddos to play while I get to workout. The staff and people are super friendly and always greet you when you walk in. In-Shape is the only gym I would attend if your looking to join!

Great facilities, all you could imagine for a gym, good location.

I love the day care and the day care staff. The young ladies and the 1 gentleman who work the area are great and my son is always happy to go to the daycare meanwhile I work out. As a mom, this is extremely important, and it makes it easier for me to enjoy my workout.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Gym equipments down time is minimumal and gym with restrooms are always clean

Skilled Athletic Instructors and very high quality routines for any level exercise you seek. Enter at your own pace or portion of the class and work your way up. The 29-Minute Circuit is a group of weightlift equipment in one area that you can do repetitve rounds lifting (called reps) to build strength endurance and muscles on self-directed exercise. Yosemite Ave. Merced CA also has a once a week morning class by Becky on the 29-Minute Circuit. My fav class is BODYPUMP instructed weightlift routines.

Machinery all in good working order, facility clean with lots of options. Cold water fountains are the icing on the 🍰!

I just joined today and signed up for an aqua fit class. First class was awesome, a great workout, teacher was great, and people were friendly. The staff was very helpful with the app and very nice!!

I go six days a week and it’s definitely showing! Clean facilities, lots of options, spacious pool, excellent amenities, friendly staff, and really affordable rates

I love the environment and the friendly staff. i love my In-shape location because it has the indoor pool and spa. I would like to take this time to recommend a new workout machine im not even sure exist, well it does at theme parks.. An Arm Wrestling Simulator workout machine, every gym needs one.

I love this place! Recently signed up. When i came by to look the place over the gentleman I was speaking with answered all my questions, and trust me I had a lot! He showed me all around the place and never once pressured me into committing right then and there. I went back 2 months after speaking to him and joined up. The trainer has helped me (not pressured into get paid time with him, just helped me when i asked questions) with modifying a workout due to health issues. The staff is friendly and polite, and I don't get that. . . uncomfortable feeling that I have at other gyms. All around an awesome place. Also, LOVE the pool at the G St. gym area.

In shape is a great gym!I have been with them since 2015. Inshape has Great Magnement team. They're customer service and the staff are great . They are so resourceful, respectful, professional and always so helpful. All the equipment works and what doesn't they're very quick to fix. I like how the gym is well-organized and clean, how in shape has the special classes offered to us members and how they have play care for the kiddos. I would recommend In shape to everyone I know. Great gym in Merced. The staff members are all very welcoming! Machines are very nice and very well maintained. In the afternoon it's pretty packed but before 5pm and after 9pm it dies down.

Workers are good and equipment is acceptable. The workers also keep the gyms, at least the one I'm at, really clean at a consistent schedule. Lots of cleaning supplies for you to wipe down machines after you use em. Atmosphere is good and socialble yet people around you focus on working hard. This isnt a gym for showcasing, this is an actual gym for anyone to go at their own pace.

First off, this gym has its pro's and con's but the positives greatly out weigh the negativity. I'll just get the negatives out of the way. It gets very crowded at times and tends to stay crowded for a long time. People do not put weights back in the proper place which is frustrating. The staff and facility really can't monitor that all the time which is understandable. Another complaint is that the Glute isolator machine in Atwater is so much more accommodating for those with short stature, I've tried both g st machines and they do not measure up. Having said all this, these are all minor issues. One of the biggest issues is that the bathroom needs better up keeping. Too often it is not clean enough. Despite this issue I will still go to this location.

Now on to the positive! I really like the variety of this gym. Seriously, from all of the group classes, to the cardio arena, to the weights/free weights this place has something for everyone. Anyone who is serious about their fitness and/or bodybuilding and/or weight loss should be going here. The 29minute circuit room is nicer than other local options as well. The pool here is decent size as well. Majority of the staff are very friendly and welcoming.Overall a fantastic gym and awesome variety.

Variety of machines to workout with, hours of operation and the massage chair is great 😃

Very nice gym, best one I've seen. So many free weights, machines and lots of space. They have others things too like classes and a pool and day care.
