Donut King's

I went around 1:30 pm.
I went to pick up an order my brother called in over the phone for two sandwiches and a drink.
Their donuts are so soft and taste fresh. I had a glazed donut today. I would return for the donut itself.
The sandwiches are always delicious. I get the bbq pork sandwich. It is also spicy. The bread is always a good crunch to bite into and not hard at all.
I tried their vanilla chai with boba today, and I was pleasantly surprised. It's really yummy, and I would have it again. I can definitely taste both flavors.
Customer service is always great. They are super helpful and nice.

Other drinks I don't care for like their honeydew blended drink with boba.
The atmosphere is okay. I usually just pop in to grab my food to go :)

Amazing honeydew flavored tea! Also the lemon grass chicken sandwich is to die for. Hidden gem for sure in the area and the donuts are always fresh for sure. Don’t sleep on this place guys !

I have traveled the world (including Vietnam) searching for the best tofu banh mí and I have yet to find a better one than Donut King in Merced. They bake their own sandwich bread and the tofu is incredibly flavorful. They dont skimp on the veggies and cilantro either. The donuts are also melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The price point is excellent. Service is friendly and its run by a local family. Only 2 tables to eat at so I usually carry out. I love Donut King and its the first place I stop whenever I come back to visit.

Favorite sandwich in Merced and I love the mural on their back wall. I get the beautiful Vietnamese chicken banh mi sandwich and the flavor is so delicious! So bright and fresh tasting. Always love the customer service and the location is awesome too. Right by the tower theater, Antique Mall, and Restoration thrift store.

The banh mi is AMAZING! Very flavorful and inexpensive.

This is my favorite "to go to place" in Merced. I have come here with my partner throughout the years and not once did I have a bad experience.
We will usually pre-order on the phone and pick up our Banh mi. Good phone call experience. Employees are great. The Banh mi bread are so nice and crispy. The meat is so flavorful, it's a perfect balance. Donuts are amazing too! I have not had a donut that taste old or stale.
We usually get the Taro Boba, which it also amazing. The boba are so nice and warm. Smoothie is nicely blended and smooth. 10/10

Hands down one of my favorite sandwiches ever! The bread is so soft and toasted. I come here at least 1x per week to get my little sandwich fix. I either get the Tri Tip both Asian and American style.

I come here often and the food is great as well as the service. Love the boba as well the best!!

The best bahn mi and boba in town. I was out of Merced for 3 months and donut Kings was one of my first stops - that's how much I missed their food!

I looooveeeeee this place!! The owner and employees are always so kind. Their bobas are to die for! Best place in town! I always get their coconut taro Boba. Not a fan of the sandwiches but that's because I don't care for them. They have amazing donut selections and mouthwatering cronies! Wish I had taken a photo of my order.. didn't last long in my hands.

My children and husband tried the strawberry with bobas I tried the pineapple with bobas and they where amazing. First time passing by in Merced to get Bobas big thumbs up

This is my favorite lunch spot in town. The donuts are delicious and made fresh every day. If you’re looking for something more substantial, I can’t recommend the sandwiches enough, the lemongrass chicken and the veggie tofu especially. Plus, the prices are low and the service is exceptional. Five stars!

Thai Tea Boba made me so Happy!!! Yum yum yummy!!! The Raspberry filled glazed donut was scrumptious as well!!! The lady behind the counter is really kind and sweet! We need more people like her in this world. 😊

I must admit. Sweets aren’t my regular thing, so I can't tell you about the donuts. The lemongrass chicken sandwich, I love! Lots of savory chicken with just enough veggies between a crunchy roll that's not too much bread for a sandwich! At $4.99, it's an affordable snack or lunch. Not the quickest service here, but it's worth the wait.

Tried the raised donuts and they were so soft and light. Then I looked at the menu and realized they had banh mi and decided to come back for lunch. We ordered a lemongrass chicken and a BBQ pork banh mi. They were both very good. The bread was perfect. I'll definitely be back to try more.

Best sandwiches in this area! My personal favorites are the tuna and tofu! And I just love the little miss who works the register, she is so well mannered. And also delicious donuts! We love Donut Kings 😍
