Excellent service. Tenants called to report rental house main drain line backed up on a Saturday night. On Sunday morning, I called my usual plumbing company in Merced, CA "24 hr, 7 days" emergency number and left a message with answering service, but got no reply. Next I called 2 other highly rated plumbers who advertised "24/7 emergency service" in Merced, and both were uninterested in coming out on a Sunday. Fourth call was to Roto-Rooter. Friendly, professional intake process was followed up within the hour by text notifications that the tech was en route to the house to help the tenants. After checking the cleanout, tech contacted me with an immediate solution, plus 2 additional options to prevent the problem from recurring. Friendly technician. Super low-pressure on the additional services recommended. Since it was Sunday, I authorized the immediate repair only. Tech completed repairs and sent me quotes for the additional recommended work in case I decide to do it in the future. I paid over the phone with Visa.

I am a 100% satisfied client. I have used their services several times and they never disappoint.

Helped fix my sewer issue even cleaned up the bathroom. Highly recommend it.

Expensive... a job that takes 10min was gonna cost me $275.. went with another company for $85

I work at with an HVAC contractor and we had an on-site emergency. Called to see how much it would be for an emergency call and they asked us "Would you be financially responsible for this work?" And when I responded "Yes, but I need to know how much the service is" the woman just hung up. Incredibly rude and no sense of customer service. Highly recommend they find new office staff.

Some guys from Modesto came to do some restoration work. In the process one of them was alone upstairs and went through drawers and stole a ring. When my husband called the company a supervisor returned his call and told him that he highly doubts that happened. It is very disappointing that this company doesn't seem to care or want to make things right.

Rotor Rooter has a manager Kyle that decided to put us on a no service call due to a FREE ASSESSMENT, but wanted to charge us because his guys took longer than an hour! Explain, to me how is that free. They already are pricey and we have paid plenty of times for them to do a job! If a job is not being done, we should not be charged. Kyle had no cares to listen and or have any customer service skills. Kyle is the problem and a new manger should run this company!

Way overpriced! $365 to snake an easily accessible sewage drain out in my wide open driveway that only needed to go about 25 feet in the drain. Called Johnson Plumbing and had the service done for $113 and it only took 15 minutes. Not only that they also wanted to charge around another 400 odd something dollars to use the snake camera as well. So all in all almost $1,000 dollars to snake a drain that's easy to get to and only takes around 15 minutes to get done. Save your wallet and get a second quote or just never call these guys in the first place.

A total rip off!!!! Horrible service from the tech that came to take a look at my water heater! He quoted me over 1000.00 to fix my issue and suggested to replace both water heaters for Over 5k Keep in mind they are less then 7 years old. After doing my research on YouTube I asked him if the part that I thought was the cause was getting replaced in his estimate he said it was not included and by doing the 1k repair it wasn’t guaranteed to work! You have 30 years of experience and 30 years of ripping people off Mr.Tech!

- I called Sears and they fix the issue for only 200.00. Make sure you all get a second opinion! Sears was great!

Called them for a stopped up kitchen sink. Tech ran snake through main line in front of house, didn't clear block. Said he didn't have the snake to run through kitchen. Told me his mrg would have to come out the next day. Mgr came and ran camera thru kitchen sink, said there was a blockage and possibly a broken line. Said if I wanted to have him run the snake (like I originally requested) he would have to charge me an additional $275. (Keep in mind that when I initially called them I said it was for a stopped up sink.) Gave me a huge estimate of what it would cost to repair the "broken" line. ($4500). Called another plumber to come out the next day. He ran the snake through the kitchen like I requested and cleared the stoppage. Has been draining without any issues. Would have left minus five stars if it was possible.

Worst place to go had them come by to fix a water heater and still does not work after 6 months of them working on it and when I had it done they assured me it had a year warranty but when I call them they said I had no warranty at all this business is the worst to go to

$700 to change to hoses took him 20 min.
